History

Established in 1986.

Over 25 years ago Richard Ambrosino was working at Westinghouse in their steam turbine division. He sat down one night with his wife Elaine and decided to make a life change. From that point on the mechanical engineer from Drexel was a self employed business man. The birth of Therm Ayre Co. Rich did the sales, service and installs along with an employee. Elaine was the office manager, accountant and secretary. Talk about family owned and operated. Rich not only took his knowledge of mechanical engineering to help lay the foundation of the company, he also took the old saying ‘fix it right the first time” as the main focus of the company.

Therm Ayre grew and a few years later his son Michael joined the company. The technology in the HVAC business has changed and Therrn Ayre strives to be at the forefront of knowing the equipment in the business. Michael is now the General Manager overseeing the operations of the company. The values that Rich formed with the company hold true today.
