Welcome to Apple Tree Learning Center! We offer an infant-​toddler program, child care, preschool, kindergarten, first grade and before & after school age care. Apple Tree Learning Center is a Chesapeake daycare, preschool and early childhood education center dedicated to providing quality Christian education to those in the Hampton Roads community. Our highly skilled teachers help facilitate the growth of the whole child and with preschool and with early childhood education centers in five locations in Chesapeake and Suffolk, we are equipped to warmly and conscientiously attend to the unique needs of your child.

History

Established in 1992.

Apple Tree Learning Center is a Chesapeake daycare, preschool and early childhood education center dedicated to providing quality Christian education to those in the Chesapeake community. We offer infant & toddler, preschool, kindergarten through 5^th grade, before and after care and summer programs, all designed to teach the whole child. With early childhood educational centers in five locations in Chesapeake and Suffolk, we are able to serve every community in the area.

Meet the Business Owner

Heidi R.

Business Owner

Heidi Riden is the President and CEO of Apple Tree Learning Centers. She has over 25 years experience working with families and teaching young children, and has her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. Heidi has worked for non-​profits and for-​profits and has enjoyed being part of the development and expansion of Apple Tree in the Hampton Roads area. Ms. Riden is married to Trace, who is the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor for Apple Tree. Together, Heidi and Trace have a blended family of three very energetic boys; Zach (18 years), Cameron (10 years), and TJ (5 years). Let’s not forget the family pets: Lucy, Luke, and Lacie. They are very much a part of the Riden family and at times visit the centers to put a smile on the children’s faces! It is very important to the Riden family that all of the children in the programs feel loved and supported.
