History

Established in 1995.

Chesapeake Wellness Center originally started out as Cedar Chiropractic Center but eventally changed its name to Chesapeake Wellness Center as we do much more than Chiropractic. We have gradually grown to offer care in all areas of wellness that includes weight loss, stress reduction as well as care for difficult to manage conditions such as Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain syndromes.

Dr. Mark has been a chiropractic patient since he was 12 years old. That is when he started seeing his first Chiropractor for severe headaches. Dr. Mark had great success with treatment in correcting his problem. During his treatment as an adolescent and teenager, he and his parents realized he was not missing any school for your ‘typical’ illnesses hat children receive from school. Actually, the only time Dr. Mark went back to his medical doctor was only for his yearly school physicals. Dr. Mark continued on with chiropractic receiving treatment for injuries to his right knee from snow skiing, his right shoulder from playing racquetball and his low back from football. Chiropractic became this natural transition for him as a profession. So after high school he went right into college and recieved his Bachelors of Science and then enrolled immediately for Chiropractic University. Upon graduating in 1992 he began working immediately helping those in need.
