History

Established in 1979.

HouseMaster Inspections was started in 1979, and has been setting the standard for the home inspection industry ever since. For nearly all of the time since, we have had an active presence in Hampton Roads. This franchise was opened by John Burke in 2003, and has set the bar locally for excellent service. HouseMaster offices have performed over 2 million inspections in north America, with several thousand of them having been performed by this office.

John Burke has personally performed thousands of home inspections since 2003, and was awarded the first HouseMaster «Master of the Method» award for excellence in customer service in 2006. In 2010, he won the HouseMaster «Sales Achievement Award» and was one of three finalists for the Hampton Roads Realtors Association (HHRA) «Affiliate of the Year» award. John is National Institute of Building Inspectors (NIBI) Certified and a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) since 2003.
