Magic Sweep started in 1979 and has served over 100,000 in the Hampton Roads area. We have the Experience to do the job right for you. All of our service echs are certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America and have the experience to do the job right. We are a Virginia Class A contractor and we are fully licensed and insured.

Business Owner

Jim has been in the chimney service business since 1979 and is nationally known for his experience in the field of chimney service. Jim regulary travels the country teaching seminars for the Chimney Safety Institute of America and is also active on several building code committees through the National Fire Protection Association and the American Gas Association. Locally, Jim is a former firefighter for the cities of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, and is still an active volunteer Paramedic in Virginia Beach.
