At MJ’s, we are a cut above. We use only properly sized equipment for mowing your lawn. We do not use large and heavy «ride-​on» mowers, which can cause unnecessary damage to your turf. We accept credit cards to help make billing simple, and we do not require you to sign a yearly contract for our services. Each of our highly trained employees wears a uniform, speaks English, and is a legal citizen. We have a friendly and knowledgeable staff, with years of experience, ready to take care of all your lawn service needs.

History

Established in 2005.

MJ’s Lawn Service, LLC was officially founded in January, 2005. Our customer base continues to increase every year, and our service area now covers all of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. We continue to provide lawn care for many of the same customers we’ve had since the beginning. Even after more than ten years, we still look forward to every upcoming mowing season because we take pride in our work, and enjoy what we do.

MJ’s Lawn Service is owned and operated by Mike Toll and Jon McMasters. We started the business while classmates together at Salem High School, mowing lawns to earn extra money. We continued on a small scale throughout college, as we studied horticulture and business management at TCC and ODU. Afterward, we decided to make the lawn service a full time commitment, and we haven’t looked back since.
