New China Restaurant

This place SUCKS!!! I wanted something to eat but wanted to stay within budget. I figured go to Chinese for lunch special. 18 dollars later I got the worst tasting house special fried rice. It had peas, bean sprouts, and carrots included in with the meat. The lack of taste to it was the worst. Pu-​Pu platter… the name fits…
I thought about getting my money back but how? All I can do is warn those that decide to try this place after me. DON’T.

Not good. My wanton soup tastes like it was cooked in water. The egg foo young was flavorless. Just tasted like air along with the gravy. I love chinese food and I’m searching for a go to when I get that frequent craving since I’ve moved but this is not the place. Missing Norfolk chinese food right about now.

Well when I went to this place it was rated 5 stars and let me tell you this is not the case. Customer service was fine and The place itself is in a strip mall and nothing to look at but I found gems in places like this.
The Food was hot and fresh but the quality of the food was significantly sub par. I ordered general to chicken and they used really cheap meat and cuts I mean there was tendons in the meat absolutely disgusting. The crab ragoon has little to no crab and was overly sweet which was just gross. The sweet and sour chicken my wife and daughter got was okay from what they said and the fried rice was decent. The eggrolls on the other hand were atrocious they were overly greasy and the stuff inside was mushy and peppery. It was the first time I seen my wife bite into an enroll and spit it out.
The food here is terrible and I mean terrible, so it’s safe to say I will not be returning and I would highly recommend anyone wanting Chinese to avoid this place at all costs.

For to-​go Chinese food, this place is the best. Their steamed dumplings are amazing.
When ordering over the phone, the girl answering can come off a little rude but I don’t think it’s intentional. The food is great. If you’re in the area, check it out!

I’ve ordered food from here so many times, and it has always been good. The sesame seed chicken, teriyaki chicken, and the egg fu young is delicious. The sweet tea is also very good, and the lunch specials are great. I usually can’t even finish my much special and it’s only 3.49!

I’ve been coming here for years and I can honestly say that I’ve never been disappointed. They have a killer lunch special from 10:30am-4:30pm. You can get a generous sized plate full of General Tso chicken (or whatever else you decide to order) and a soda for like $ 5.
They’re also always open too! Including holidays! So if you’re looking for a place to grab some food with the family than this is your spot!
I recommend the sesame chicken and the Mongolian chicken! The sweet tea is also good too!

Great, tasty Chinese food. Decent prices and fast friendly service. What more can you ask for from a Chinese spot?

I had the fried chicken plate and the general tso’s chicken plate. Both were very good.
This place is great. Very fast and very friendly service. And very low priced.
They have a great mix of traditional dishes as well as Americanized fast dishes. Whatever your in the mood for, they have something you’ll like.
This place was packed with people and I can see why. Everyone was ordering the fried chicken which is cooked perfectly. Juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. You must eat this chicken fresh. If you love Chinese-​style fried chicken or any fried chicken for that matter, you have to try this place.
There aren’t very many reviews but this place was packed. And for being so packed I was in and out in under 10 minutes.
