Refreshing and so cold! Nice variety of flavor that change out. They even have a gelato flight. Four flavors in one compartmented container. It’s pretty good but super sweet. I know that seems obvious but I mean it is really sweet. Overall not bad and a good value.

Can you believe this is the first time I set foot in a Rita’s?! What have I been doing with my life?! This particular location is really nice — clean, big and well-lit. After much deliberation, I went with the gelati, which appears to be a popular choice with my fellow Unilocalers. I paired horchata with a vanilla custard — I love the combination of the flavors and textures between the ice and the creamy custard. I will definitely be back to try more things off of their menu!

I have a love for Rita’s. This locations downfall is running out of my favorite flavor a frequently.(Black cherry and pear — strawberry is a good third). I don’t care to drive 25 — 30 minutes to get here but if I’m already out I will make a stop. The staff is your typical high school summer job. They are nice enough but not too interested. Overall I wish they would carry more flavors or at least my favorites. The line is usually fairly short. Last: I swear the price has really hiked up from what I remember; over $ 8 for two people to have a regular. Good occasional treat.

Italian ice that’s yummy!!! If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out! It’s affordable, diet friendly, kid friendly, great for a stop while on a date, yum on a hot day, yum on a cold day, because who cares if you’re freezing, it’s SODANGGOOD! Get a gelati, and you’ll be back so often, it’ll become part of your monthly bill budget! Enjoy!

I love me some italian ice. I get tired of eating froyo and ice cream all the time. Get the Gelati(ice+topped w/custard) I always get mango ice with«the swirl»(chocolate&vanilla custard). Blendini’s(blend of ice+custard+1 topping). My favorite one to get is mango, vanilla ice, graham crackers, crazy good. My little brother loves coming here too, this is our spot when I take him out.

The kids and I love this place. The worst part is trying to decide what to order. I like that they offer free samples so we can taste something before we buy. It’s freezing inside, so we usually opt to eat ours outside on a bench or at a picnic table. The seating area and bathrooms are both very clean. This entire shopping center is full of great places.

This place hits the spot when I’m craving Italian ice. They change their flavors every day, but they usually always have mango because it is one of their most popular flavors. They also always have a sugar-free ice option and some cream ices(which is a thicker Italian ice). For custards, they always have vanilla and chocolate and a special flavor as well. I have tried their gelatis, Blendinis, and Misto shakes, and it really depends on what mood you’re in when you visit the place. I recommend looking at the sign on the side of the wall for recommendations on Blendinis and Misto shakes. I do recommend the mango gelati with vanilla custard, mango Blendini and Blue Hawaiian Misto shake(if they have blueberry or blue raspberry available that day). It can be very busy or very slow depending on the time of day you go. I like that there is outdoor seating available as well for warm summer nights.

If you like Italian ice this is the place to go. Great flavors and combo options. Mango is by far the best add vanilla custard for an amazing combo. Don’t forget to ask for military discount.

Had a great first visit here — went with a rather benign chocolate/vanilla swirl cone, but it was decadently delicious. I wasn’t quite in the mood for the italian ices they offered that day, but the place is nice and clean with a friendly staff. Look forward to going back as this summer heat/humidity/stormy weather continues.

What can I say, I like Gelato, I like Italian Ice and«like + like = love», right?! I didn’t ‘discover’ Rita’s until about a year ago and by that time, the one we had in Norfolk was closed down, so now I have to drive quite a distance to get my fix. When I’m in an area where I know there is a Rita’s close by and I’m in the mood for something cold, I promise I’ll see you there. This particular location was very basic inside(think fro-yo café). The staff was really friendly. Oh, one tip, they give you a 5% discount if you pay with cash!
