History

Established in 1951.

Robert Nelson started the company in New Jersey in 1951 and quickly built a reputation for providing quality products and services. In 2004 they moved to the Hudson Valley to expand that high quality of service. In 2005 the company was handed down to grandson Scott Nelson.

In August of 2006 Scott Nelson partnered up with Jason Peck to form J & S Home Comfort Solutions. With this merger, now J & S has unlimited resources, owned by local Hudson Valley residents – Scott and Jason, Chester and Maybrook residents and lifelong Hudson Valley natives. They are committed to providing complete customer satisfaction and has a mission to be «The Premier Heating and Air Conditioning Company» in the Hudson Valley area. To become the best Monroe heating contractor in Orange County and the Hudson Valley, they know they must be able to provide the highest quality and most energy-​efficient air conditioning and heating products on the market.

Called them and they said they would give me a call back in a half hour. Going on an hour and a half and still no call back. Ended up going with another company.

Ok for some strange reason my furnace started acting funny. The heat stopped running but yet I had hot water. I gave J and S a call around 6pm on a weekend. Approximately, 15 minutes later my call was returned and they said they can come the next day at 7am. Good thing it wasn’t cold out. As promised 7am they was there working on my furnace. However, they could not really explain to me why and what cause it to shut the heat off when it’s a 2011 furnace. So a bang on the pipe and a $ 150 later it was working. Overall, there customer service and quick returned phone call was a five star and these guys are wonderful but would of like a little information on why it happened. Some people would complain about the next day service but it was fine for me. When winter comes I’m sure I’ll feel differently. But would use these guys again in the near future.
