Here at Spinal Rehab, our primary goal is to improve the quality of your life. We utilize a system of spinal manipulation that has evolved over 30 years of experience. The Pro-​Adjuster method uses computer technology to deliver painless spinal manipulation that is referred to as impulse adjusting. This treatment is followed by a technique called Cox Flexion Distraction. The patient is placed face down on the table and the doctor uses slow and deliberate motions that the table is designed to deliver. This allows for increased spinal movement and spinal range of motion. The combination of these two treatments have been used on our patients to alleviate neck pain, headaches, shoulder problems and low back pain.

Our specialty lies in the treatment of spinal disc ruptures. The combination of the Pro-​Adjuster method, Cox Flexion Distraction and spinal decompression is utilized to repair either bulging or ruptured discs. Over 90% of our patients are able to avoid surgery when these treatment procedures are performed.

All 3 locations offer a wide variety of 100% natural vitamins, supplements and pain relief.

We also offer Spine and nutrition classes at our Chesterfield location. At the spine class, you will be able to diagnose back problems better than your medical doctor. And at the nutrition class, Dr. Ron will go over all the necessary vitamins and nutrients to live a happy and healthy life and to help avoid any and all medications. We offer each of these classes once a month.

History

Established in 1978.

The Center Line office was established in 1978 by brothers Larry, Mark and Ron Manteuffel. Dr. Mark Wrobel joined the staff in 1992. The office originally began as a 1,600 square foot facility and soon grew to 3,320. In 2013, the office expanded to Chesterfield township where the doctors operate out of a 2,200 square foot building. The Chesterfield location is operated by Dr. Ron Manteuffel .

The doctors will expand again to Columbus Township located 5 miles north of Richmond, Michigan on Gratiot avenue. The office is scheduled to open 10−2−14.

Dr. Ron Manteuffel grew up in Detroit, MI, where he attended St. David grade school and then moved to Harrison Twp, MI where he graduated from L’Anse Creuse High School in 1977. He then went on to receive his Associates of Science at Macomb Community College in 1977. Dr. Ron received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1980.

Dr. Ron has been a member of the MAC since 1980. He is also board certified in Cox Flexion distraction.

Dr. Ron donates his time to the community by hosting back wellness seminars along with nutrition classes to educate the importance of proper nutrition.
