St Louis Cosmetic Surgery Medical Spa

I went to St. Louis cosmetic surgery medical spa for fine lines around my mouth and for head and very few broken capillaries under my eyes. The nurse did the active fx laser on my face and chest. She said it would work great for me. She did not say anything bad about it or complications that could arise. I had the procedure done October 2013. I followed her after care regimen exactly as she said and my face hyper pigmentated all over my face. It looked dirty so she decided to do an ipl, chemical peel, pumpkin enzyme and micro derma abrasions to try to fix it. She ended up scaring my face. I called to follow up a month later and found out she was fired because she was to aggressive with lasers. Seen the new nurse and they did a chemical peel. I went back in for a follow up and they wanted to do another chemical peel and told me that they were going to charge me to fix the nurses mistakes. I now have hyper and hypo pigmentation, more broken capillaries all over my face and chest and wrinkles where I did not have them before. The nurse didn’t take any before pics so they don’t know what my face looked like before. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. This place is very unprofessional. They do not inform their patients of complications. They make it sound like everything will be perfect. They just want your money but if anything goes wrong they don’t want to fix it. I will never have anything else done there.

I had rhinoplasty over 2 years ago at St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery. To say the least, I wish I had never gotten surgery to begin with. I would have taken my too-​large-​for-​my-​face-​nose anyday over what it has become since. My surgery was performed by Dr. Bruce White. I was very young at the time (and still am) and was taken advantage of in my vunerable state. I had high hopes for the surgery and had dreamed of it for years and it was finally happening. Dr. White promised me things that he clearly did not achieve. To my dismay, the incision mark in which my septum was cut open was pink and bullbous and hung down significantly. The left nostril was smaller than my right and went into a point not to mention there was a nodule where the crease of my nostril was. I lost sensation in my nose and above my lip and for over a year my nose dripped and I only knew when it hit the top of my lip. I went back for post-​ops every so often expressing my troubles to Dr. White the fews times he was actually there and his nurses were not assisting me. He claimed there was nothing wrong but would do revision surgery for an additional $ 2,500 to the $ 6,300 I had already paid. There was no way. I talked to several surgeons over the next year to see if there was anything that could be done. Long story short, I had revision surgery about a year after the intitial surgery in Colombia, Missouri. Any surgery’s after the first are harder to perform since there is already scar tissue formed. My nose is still not what I would like, but some of the major issues were addressed. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about the pricey mistake I have made. It makes me sick to think about all the time and money I have spent only to hate my face more than before. I’m not condoning plastic surgery, but a word from the wise; DO YOUR RESEARCH! And do not rush into it. It is something you will live with for the rest of your life.

This place is gorgeous on the inside. When I did my research I wanted a surgeon out in West County because I figured that they would be the best. I didn’t like the particular surgeon that I seen because he seemsed to want to just total a bill instead of listening to what I needed and wanted. After going to a different surgeon, I realized how much I would of regretted coming here. I can’t vote on how their surgery comes out, but I can on how their inital appointment goes.
