Here your child will develop the foundation to our Children’s Martial Arts Program. Each child will learn Focus, Discipline, and Respect for others along with the basic techniques necessary to take them to the next level in Martial Arts. this is a fun and exciting class that will help build your child’s self confidence. Here your children will begin working towards their Black Belt. Our style of martial arts, American Bu Kyoko Ryu, blends Karate, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, weapons, and street self defense. At the same time, children will develop muscle tone, flexibility, coordination, and stamina.

Jiu-​Jitsu/​Grappling/​Boxing/​Kickboxing

As a full service facility, we also offer MMA classes. In this class you will learn some BJJ, wrestling and Judo takedowns, as well as positioning, sweeps, and submission holds. This class is perfect for both students looking to earn a black belt in our American Bu Kyoko Ryu style of martial arts as well as those looking to focus on just the grappling arts.

Adult MMA Fitness

For those individuals looking to lose weight, get in shape, increase muscle tone, increase stamina and flexibilty. Here you’ll learn the necessary techniques of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and basic Jiu Jitsu in a non-​contact way. Get all of the training, just none of the contact. Along with hardcore conditioning, this power hour will get you in shape in no time.

Started with Z’s Martial Arts with up to 3 locations in Illinois. The founders Rob and Jim Zbilski created one of the baddest kickboxing teams in the early 90’s racking up more than 50 amateur and professional titles. Now we bring our experience to you.

Arvind Gavali received his 2^nd degree black belt under Rob and Jim Zbilski back in 1997. He has spent over 15 years teaching, training, and managing schools for Team Z. Now he has found himself living in the St Louis area and opened his own school under the same Team Z banner.
