They missed spots. I got a Groupon for them for a bikini wax.. I asked to go ahead and get a Brazilian, the woman charged me $ 30 at the end for it! ! The place was small and seemed out dated. The girl that did my wax was super awkward. I tried to make small talk, which she would respond to in like 2 words. I won’t be going back.

I went to get my grey covered left with stainless steel colored roots and that was by their master stylist my hair then on top of that when I went to get it fixed they booked me at the same time the woman that did this to my hair worked. Then I was told that I was rude to the staff and that they were fitting me in. It’s like a sweat shop not a spa and when the salon manger approach me to accuse me she did not ask to do it privately she did it in front of all the clients. The Real master stylist I went to fixed it but it was a chemical burn. Lost my hair in places.
The facials were great but Kazue master stylist was awful… if you want broken off hair and grey roots you will love her. And fitting you in means you are subject to being left with color on your roots too long.

I purchase two groupons, one for me and one for my friend for her birthday for the mani/​pedi. The whole experience you feel rushed and not relaxed. The pedi that is included with the groupon does not include getting your feet rubbed. Who knew you could get a pedicure and not get your feel rubbed… Then I asked about upgrading and getting shellac for my manicure and they were «unsure if the time allotted for that». I was able to get the upgrade for $ 19! and now 7 days later it is already peeling. I’ve never had a shellac mani peel before. I think they didn’t properly prep my nails to save time. Overall I was so disappointed with the whole experience and will never be back.

I bought a Groupon for this location and was not disappointed. I didnt have to wait long and their orange infused water was refreshing.
Ive had my fair share of massages, most of which did not last the full time nor adhere to my requests. In a full 60 minutes my massage therapist, Stephanie, was able to do a full body massage while also accommodating to my needs. I have knots everywhere and she was able to hit most of the spots in that amount of time. The massage also included head rubs and a face massage! Coming in very stressed, I left feeling extremely relaxed. I definitely recommend going here and requesting Stephanie!

Came to this location because of a review of another person. All services that were provided (massage, facial, and mani/​pedi) were ok but wait time wasn’t up to par. I had to wait 45 minutes in between services because they forgot about me. I was sitting in the waiting room which is front and center and more then 10 employees walked by multiple times without speaking to me. I would most likely not go back to this spa for future services. I believe their system is very out of date, sheets, towels and robes are not up to date compared to other spas I’ve been too. Robes were one size fits all which was a little uncomfortable for me.

I also had a groupon and used it for a mani/​pedi. I agree they provide discriminated service for groupon holders. It was an express service and the manicure only lasted a few days. The technician stated she did not have a nail clipper thick enough to cut my nail, which I have never been told before anywhere else. She was also pretty rude and I wish I hadn’t tipped her on the full amount rather than amount of groupon, as I certainly didn’t get full service.

Just had a prenatal massage at this location. It was a nice massage, but a little disappointed for a couple reasons. 1) my appt was at 3:30, I arrived at 3:15. The therapist did not take me back until 3:41 (I looked at my phone) and had me fill out the paperwork I could have filled out while I was waiting after we got to the room. It was now 3:45.
I waited 5 minutes or so after getting on the table for her to come back (which is fine, if it had been taken into consideration for the stop time of the massage) and again, it was a nice massage. BUT, when she was done, I looked at the clock and it was 4:30! This was at most a 40 minute massage. I was on time (early) and should not have been slighted by 20 minutes on my massage. I’m 6 months pregnant and have been looking forward to this for a while now.
When I asked the front desk if it was an hour long massage, they said yes and said «your appointment was at 3:30». I agreed, then said I was here at 3:15 and didn’t get taken back until 3:41. The lady said «oh, I’m sorry. $ 89 please.» I mean. Are you serious? I couldn’t believe that was it! A 40 minute massage (which was great, but would have really liked my full hour that I paid for and was very much on time/​early for) when 6 months pregnant. It was like I was an inconvenience. I will most definitely not be coming back. The 2^nd star is only for the massage, NOT the customer service.

This place is far from professional. I tried to book 6 people for a girls spa day and there is only one person in charge of making group appointments, Judy, who I called and left multiple messages for. I only got ahold of her once and not from a returned phone call, I called her numerous times and when I did speak with her I told her I would call her right back and book everyone’s appointments after we purchased the Groupons. Then I did as I said and called her right back and of course she didn’t answer. Sorry you wanted to treat me differently simply because your company put out a groupon to GAIN business and we attempted to give you our business. No worries, we found another salon to accommodate us. Judy needs to find another job because this one seems to be too difficult. DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.

If you are thinking of buying a Groupon for either a facial or a massage, then this place is a rip-​off. They provide a discriminated service for the Groupon holders (which they do not disclose on Groupon’s website). The facial service is a shortened one using low quality products. The massage service is also of a lower quality. One does not get to chose the type of massage as is the case with their usual service. I also felt that they discriminate the Groupon holders during booking.

Went there for a massage, I got a groupon actually. I am always a little skeptical when carrying a groupon but they accepted it just fine. The masseur was very professional duly noted my requirement, kept taking feedback. I had paid for a Swedish massage but he upgraded me to a deep tissue which was nice.
The place was very hygienic and well kept. There is nothing that I could say about the establishment that disappointed me. It’s just that the massage rooms are quite crammed, but that’s what you usually expect in Chesterfield anyway.

Do not support this spa. Clearly the owner doesn’t have children. They would not allow my sleeping baby 1 year old come with me for a leg wax.

I’m very disappointed in this «spa.» Last time I was there the provider was 15 minutes late for my eye brow appointment, but I waited patiently as I understand things can happen. Today (due to an accident on 40) I was 10 minutes late and the provider cancelled my appointment. I guess it’s OK if she runs late, but not her clients. Very poor service. Her name is Tonya and I would avoid her. I’d actually avoid this whole place as even the front desk doesn’t understand customer service (beyond saying the word «unfortunately» over and over).

My stepdad treated my mom and myself to a mini-​spa day here. We both got mani/​pedis. She recently had surgery so we definitely needed some bonding time.
The inside is very nice and the staff is very friendly. They do a great job of maintaining a relaxing, soothing environment.
My nail tech, Romi, was extremely nice and thorough. She had the tough job of removing glitter gel from my toes and while it was a tough job, she was patient and didn’t get frustrated.
A couple of suggestions:
My mother booked our appointments together, yet we were seated one chair apart during our pedicures (they did move us when we asked) and across the room from each other during our manicures. I’ve encountered this problem a number of times in salons and I don’t understand why it’s always an issue.
After leaving, I realized Romi was a bit aggressive with the cuticle removal as I have a couple of cuts.
All in all, it was a nice experience and my mom and I very much enjoyed our time together.

I’ve been to the Face and the Body before for massages and never had a bad experience. I bought a groupon deal for an hour long full body massage for only $ 39 (plus tip), which just so happened to come out right before my marathon… SCORE! I set up my appointment about 4 days in advance with no issue. I went ahead and scheduled it for the day after my marathon, which I hoped would be enough time to actually enjoy the massage instead of squirm in pain when the masseuse touched my legs! They called over 24 hours in advance to remind me of my appointment, I’m pretty sure they have a 24 hour cancellation policy that is strictly enforced. When I arrived both of the girls at the front desk greeted me and they were very friendly. When I presented my groupon, they weren’t snobby about it at all (you know how some places turn their noses up at the groupons…) and I only waited about a minute before my masseuse (Shelly) came out to the lobby to greet me. She was very nice and soft spoken, she only looked a few years older than me. I’m always wary of going to a new masseuse because you want to make sure you get someone good, you know? So I was hoping that Shelly would know her stuff! When we entered the room, it was warm and soothing with soft music playing in the background. She asked me a few questions about any concerns that I had, and I told her about my marathon the areas of my legs that were really sore. She told me I was her third massage of the day from a marathon, so I figured she knew just what to do! She only talked to me for the first few minutes of the massage to make sure I was comfortable with the pressure and to make small talk but then I was left to drift off in relaxation for the rest of the hour (which I very much appreciate). The massage was great, she used a good amount of pressure and made me feel very comfortable. When I was done, I asked the front desk girls about the complimentary wine mentioned in the groupon, and they offered either merlot or chardonnay. I had a glass of chardonnay and sat in a comfy chair for a while to relax before I left. For the price of the groupon, this was a great deal and I would definitely come back.

I really like this spa — I’ve never had a bad experience here. Not even a mediocre experience! I’ve been here mostly for massages, but for pedicures and waxes, too.
The atmosphere is nice, relaxing, quiet. The massage rooms are always warm, comfortable and soothing. Sights, sounds and smells are very lovely.
If you go for a massage, I highly suggest booking it with massage therapist Kathleen Peterson. She is amazing — I’ve used many different massage therapists before and in my opinion, she is the best. She doesn’t make you feel like you have to talk, and she really knows how to focus on the areas you need worked out. She uses a combination of techniques in her Swedish massage that just feel soooo good.
Last night, I slept like a rock. Today, I feel straight and tall, and I couldn’t be in a better mood. Kathleen is amazing! I will never go see anyone else after seeing her.

More can be spoken about the space rather than the hospitality.
though an overall EXTREMELY well kept salon, great lighting and soothing music, the employees were more than overbooked to be personable.
Prices slightly above average, my pedicure was VERY well executed but in all other words rushed. I was in and out so quickly I didn’t quite have the opportunity to enjoy it, but with my schedule, that’s exactly the way I prefer it.
