Dunkin’ Donuts

I got here at 5pm and the munchkins/​majority of pastry were sold out although they’re going to be open for another 4 hours… I’ve been to other DD and food do not run out that early.

Slowest DD I have ever been to. It took longer than getting some fancy drink at Starbucks — all I ordered was a med coffee and a plain toasted bagel.

This place is always understaffed, and the employees who are here are often slow, non-​responsive, and generally incompetent all around.

This has to be the worst Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to which is weird because it is tiny and there is never a line. The service takes long enough to watch the grass grow and half of the time they get my order wrong. I used to come here out of convenience but I will never choose to go to this location again. It hasn’t been this way for just a short time, this problem has persisted for the last four years. Was frustrated to the point that I felt the need to leave this review. Don’t come here unless your life depends on it.

This dd is sooooo slow. Long lines, no sense of urgency. Just beacause it’s right next to a college shouldn’t mean standards should be low.

This place is too slow to be useful. Average wait time to get a coffee is 8 minutes. That’s nuts.

Never again. Every time I walk in here, they take forever, they screw up the order, they’re rude, and when I get home there’s bacon in my sausage sandwich and my black coffee has cream and sugar. Awful.

It’s tough to give a DD a 2, but come on… when the place is empty I shouldn’t walk in and see a filthy place. There’s only maybe 5 small tables in here and all of them were dirty, except on. If it was busy and no one could get out and clean them, I’d understand, but after a snowstorm and before we headed to see BC play Maine in hockey the place had one other person in it and looked rough.
On a bright note, the tea, coffee and muffin we ordered came out in minutes.

Worst Dunkin Donuts ever. How many people does it take to get you one large hazelnut coffee? Three! One who decides to get you a medium, one who decides to ring you up for both a medium and a large, and one who, inexplicably, thinks you ordered a coffee roll.
This is, by far, the worst DD around. It’s not that they are slow. They are. It’s not that they are unfriendly — because they are actually friendly. It’s simply that they cannot understand plain spoken English. This leads to a host of problems — including messing up your order.
Do yourself a small favor, walk to the DD at Cleveland Circle. They are far better.

By FAR the worse service ever at a Dunkin Donuts. Tt 6:15a on sat, the line was 8 people with a 20 min wait. Today Sun at 10:20a, a line of 7 with 15 min wait. Stunningly slow, slow service. Understaffed and current staff are in absolutely no rush. I’ve never seen so many people continue to walk out. DD, really, you can do much better than this.

When rating places like Dunkin Donuts you have to keep it relative to similar places. These folks are in here working for minimum wage, no tips and most of the time they do a great job — just don’t come in Sundays cause its a madhouse.
The few times they’ve made a mistake on my drink, I just asked for them to fix/​replace it and they do it happily. Its a great value and we gotta support Boston businesses! Screw Starbucks and the pretentious arses who go there.

I hate reading reviews for places like this. No-​one is ever going to search Unilocal to read this review but the people here are horrendous. They have messed up my orders at least 50% of the time. They are slow beyond belief and I feel like I am interrupting them every time I come here. If they are not texting on their phones they are sharing in some hilarious joke behind the counter. The floor is usually covered in trash and the place looks dirty in general. It’s a tiny DD so I imagine it wouldn’t take them very long to shuffle their fat asses out there with a brush and dustpan to clean it up.
This will be the last time I spend my money here.

I don’t see the justification in lousy ratings to the DD. They are friendly, fairly quick and ¼ the cost of anything on Boston College’s campus!

This D&D has gone downhill in the last few months. It is a crapshoot getting decaf iced coffee, some days yes others no. This morning I paid for iced decaf but they then told me they had none, giving me a regular decaf and not refunding the difference.
Meh, I will just take my business to the Oak Square one instead.

Good LORD, is that EFFING HARD to put cream cheese on a bagel? For this group, apparently so. Instead of a toasty bagel already prepared with a schmear, I opened up my bag on my way to work only to find a cream cheese-​less bagel with an ice-​cold mini-​tub of cream cheese on the side. Do you know how hard it is to try to take care of that little problem with a flimsy plastic knife at a stoplight?
I’m not entirely sure if humans work here, or brainless zombies. Actually I think zombies would be more effective at getting through a line. Two people in front of me. 4 minutes pass before I make it to the register.
Me: Medium iced toasted almond, extra skim, half the sugar please.
Him: Almond… cream?
Me: Extra SKIM.
Him: And what about sugar?
Me: Half the sugar.
So he writes that on the cup. Rings me up for the coffee and bagel (the order of which I also have to repeat), sloooooooowwly picks up my cup and meanders over to the coffee. Looks at the cup. Looks at me.
Him: We don’t have Splenda.
Me: SUGAR. Half the SUGAR.
I get my coffee a full two minutes later as the line builds up with increasingly frustrated people and I am left wondering if this is ACTUALLY happening. Ugh.

This has to be a training store for Dunkin’ Donuts. There is no way that a place can be consistently this bad. Staff has trouble making a regular coffee. Don’t even think about ordering a bagel or sandwich you will wait literally 10 – 20 minutes and probably end up either flipping out or walking out. I only go here if it is my last option or need a fast fix, even then it is not worth it. I must say that recently it has been a little better but still needs a lot of work. You are better off going to the Dunks in Cleveland Circle and having a way bigger selection and faster more skillful staff. If you don’t believe me and want a good laugh, go in there and order a coffee/​sandwich combo then just sick back, wait, and laugh.

By now I know nit to expect much from DD but seriously is it too much to ask for a napkin???
Yes it is obviously they ran out of napkins and sugar in the middle of the day 2 pm
By the way the only reason that I asked for napkins is by mistake I placed my phone on the counter while I was getting my wallet to pay for my ice coffee and the counter was dirty I picked up my phone and realize that it was soaked with cream and coffee
Next time I’ll bring my own napkins or maybe I’ll go somewhere else

Worst dunkin donut service ever. A few staff members need to be let go. I’d there are more than 2 people there know that it will take you atleast 15 minutes. I love dunkins and so disappointed with this one.

If you have nothing better to do and you want a giggle, go in there order a coffee and sit in their one of two tables and watch the crew work their magic. These guys are like the Keystone Kops. The other night I was in there and there were three employees on. The line was about 8 people deep and the older white haired woman was making like, three boxes of hot cocoa joes. One woman –the crazy one– was walking around aimlessly, and that one kid who looks like he should be one of the McPoyle brothers from It’s Always Sunny was picking his nose and eating it. Overall it was a pretty awesome experience and I give it 4 stars just cause the coffee is never bad and the mutants who run that joint make me laugh.

This place makes me sad.
Let’s see: unecessarily long lines, behind-​the-​counter chaos, ZERO bagel selection, fluctuating prices and just general insanity.
Watching the counter help amble about with no discernible purpose, while a growing line of agitated customers forms in front of them, does wonders for the blood pressure at 9:00am. There are either 5 people standing up front, trying to take orders, or there’s no one with 3 people working the blast furnace ovens. There’s no pattern to ordering so you’re never sure if the person that’s talking to you is asking your coffee or food order, until you relay it and they stare blankly before disappearing.
As far as bakery selections go, their focus groups or market researchers have somehow concluded that the greater Boston College/​Chestnut Hill crowd hates anything with seeds, because the only bagel selections are Plain, Onion and Multi-​Grain. I asked about it when the selections were becoming more limited and the answer relayed was that no one liked the others. Interesting.
Paying is another odyssey. Regardless of how many times you’ve ordered the same menu items, there’s no guarantee you’ll pay the same price. One person punches in the combo, the other rings it up as separate items and negates the combo price. Considering it’s 2010 wouldn’t the registers have a logic algorithm built in to identify combos and price them accordingly?
I would never traipse into this place again if French Press was still around, but given the lack of options on the block, we’re forced to choose this den of sorrow. If it wasn’t for the manager, Nei — a wonderful guy, I’d demand to give this place negative stars.
