I love Chevy Chase Florist and here’s why. I called all around Bethesda and Chevy Chase to place a last minute order for my mother, who lives in Chevy Chase, for Mother’s Day. I know, I know… Who waits until the last minute to order flowers for the person who gave you life? You know, I’ve been busy. Lol
So I called florists all over the Bethesda/​Chevy Chase area and everyone said the same thing: «Sorry, were at capacity for deliveries this weekend. It is the busiest day of the year but feel free to come into the shop and pick something out.» Ummm, I’m in Miami for work so yeah, I have to place an order either online or over the phone. Crossing my fingers, I dial Chevy Chase Florist. It’s ringing and then «Thank you for calling Chevy Chase Florist, this is Shane, how may I help you?» I go into my spiel about waiting until the last minute and ask Shane if they can possibly deliver today (Saturday) or on Mother’s Day. He said unfortunately, they are booked for today but they could do tomorrow. Wait! Did I hear you right? You can deliver on Mother’s Day? Yep! Then to boot, I wanted the Zen Artistry arrangement with lilies, orchids, bamboo, etc. He said he doesn’t know if they have the flowers but he would check. On hold I go and less than a minute later, he comes back and says THEY HAVE THE FLOWERS for that particular arrangement and it will be delivered on Mother’s Day! Ummm. yeah, that happened!
Shane was amazing! He was patient, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! When I say amazing, I mean he was a top notch professional. Ask for Shane whenever you need to call Chevy Chase Florist. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Shane for your assistance and awesomeness. I will be calling you every time I need an arrangement. You are a rock star!

I had such a great experience with Chevy Chase Florist. I called them when another florist failed to deliver flowers to someone who was recovering from surgery. David was very responsive and made sure we would be able to get the arrangement we wanted. I ordered at the end of the day and they got the flowers out by 10:30 a.m. the next day. I’ll definitely use them again!

Flowers are ok, but I have Unsubscribed from their relentless spam emails but it only comes back with a vengeance. I have phoned asking them to remove me because I get several emails a day from them on my work email. They are unprofessional. DO NOT order online

Fabulous florist — if you like to spend a few minutes picking out cut flowers and making yourself a one-​of a kind bouquet (guys, it’s not rocket science… go the extra step) then use them. Here’s the kicker, you get 50% off cut flowers starting Friday afternoon — it makes the place stupid cheap. As for the prices, I don’t see what others are saying about it being pricey, I think they’re pretty standard and if you get the 50% off deal, its a complete steal. I’m a permanent customer after my 1^st visit.

I walked into the shop for a last minute bouquet. Winston created a beautiful hand tied bouquet of roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. The price was amazing — 50% off cut flowers. It was so beautiful I would have been happy to pay full price.

I was extremely unhappy with not only the quality of my order but also the time it arrived. I paid the extra fee for delivery before 1pm… the flowers arrived at 2:05pm, AFTER my event had already started. And I was MOST disappointed in the size of the «premium» arrangement — especially considering the $ 75 price tag. I realize that pictures online sometime differ from what you get in real life but c’mon…it was barely half the size of how it appeared on the website. I do not plan on using Teleflora nor Chevy Chase Florist EVER again. Very surprised to receive such terrible service and quality from a florist in this area.

I recently wanted stop by for a last minute bouquet of flowers and David did an awesome job putting them together. They were beautiful. Prices were not cheap however it was worth it. Thank you David, you have a new customer

I have been doing business with Chevy Chase florist for a few years now and I have never, ever been disappointed.
I order flowers for my business in Washington, DC for birthdays, accomplishments, death in the family, and special events.
David the owner has always been accommodating with every order and every order has always been outstanding!
Last year for Administrative Professionals week, we wanted flowers for about 15 people but I did not see anything that I wanted online. David was kind enough to make 15 special arrangements just for my staff, they were all different assortments of fresh cut flowers in the most adorable flower vases and the staff loved them! All day long everyone asked in amazement «where did you get those flowers?» I felt so good that everyone loved them and I always proudly stated «Chevy Chase Florist»
The customer service is always outstanding and the delivery service has always been prompt and on time.

My wonderful bf sent me flowers — but when I got them the first question that came to me was «how much did he pay for these?» 2 roses, 2 lilies, some baby mums and greens, in a fish bowl. Turns out he paid quite a bit, and I saw the picture of what they were supposed to be — I was EXTREMELY disappointed.
I called the number on the back and left a message. I spoke with David, the owner, the next day and he was calm and explained to me that online company my bf got the flowers from only gave him a portion of the price of the flowers, so he made the arrangement from what the company split with him. Understandably, David had a right to be unhappy because of a mis-​negotiated deal or mis-​communication with the online flower broker. either way, situation resolved. I still think it’s a little pricey. Otherwise I would’ve given 4 stars.
