Established in 2005.

We established a primary care practice specializing in adult and geriatric care as well as pain management in 2005. The practice is a blend between traditional and holistic medicine focusing on prevention and proactive medicine. Dr. Musher believes in educating patients in health and wellness and how working with your body can help you stay healthy and live longer.

I have managed this practice since 2008 and I truly believe in our goals of health and wellness. Prevention is one of our top priorities. Our practice is very small which allows us to get to know our patients very well, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Dr. Musher is absolutely fantastic, and both my wife and me have been seeing him for the past 8 years, as our primary care physician. He is professional, knowledgable, and pays attention to every single detail. He would see us even without previously scheduling an appointment, if there is an emergency. Would highly recommend his practice.

I recently moved to DC and started the dreaded search to find a new primary care physician. I was able to make an appointment at my requested time within two weeks and there was no wait in the office. It seems like they do a really great job of scheduling and aren’t just trying to drill through a bunch of appointments. Dr musher took the time to explain his approach and he’s not just about fixing illnesses once they happen but about overall preventative measures. I came here as a referral but again only after reading the reviews did I actually make an appointment and I’m happy I did. It’s also important to note I’m a slight hypochondriac and him and his office assistant put me at ease and took the time to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend dr musher for any issues you may be having or just as a primary care physician as well!

Dr. Musher is a refreshingly down-​to-​earth physician who knows how to perform a thorough physical exam and diagnose issues without running tons of expensive, invasive tests. He takes a holistic approach to medicine that includes nutrition and wellness, and emphasizes important basics like controlling cholesterol and getting enough vitamin D. He has a wide network of specialists for referrals, and I’ve found the ones I’ve seen to be excellent practitioners in their own right.
Dr. Musher and his staff are efficient and friendly. Occasionally, a wait is required, but I don’t mind — it’s usually because Dr. Musher is willing to fit patients into the schedule when they are feeling sick. The value of that flexibility cannot be overstated. Most primary care doctors will send you to the emergency room instead, which is typically a grueling multi-​hour experience.
Overall, Dr. Musher is in the top tier of primary care doctors in the DC area.

Dr. Musher is a great primary care physician. Unlike so many doctors these days, he takes the time to get to know his patients and he actually listens to what they have to say. Dr. Musher explains his treatment recommendations and is open to all questions. Dr. Musher’s assistant is also great.

Dr. Musher is my mother’s physician. I have taken her there several times. It’s always a long wait. It shouldn’t be because she pays extra money to have him as a physician since he will no longer accept some medical plans without extra patient payment so he has «more time to spend with you». That being said, he does not spend any more time with her than a normal physician would. He rarely looks up from his chart, and almost always addresses comments to me, which I feel is disrespectful to my mother, who is perfectly capable of understanding him.
Although he was recommended, I am looking for a new doctor for my mother.

Dr. Musher may not be the friendliest but he is thorough. He went through my blood work with me and made recommendations based on what he saw. He’s into the holistic medicine thing which is nice. too expensive for my budget. but it’s good to see a doctor who realizes the importance of good health from more than just a drug standpoint. After the study that came out last year explaining the benefits of Vitamin D he will most likely make you take some of that (since 99% of people are deficient). I don’t know what the health effects (including negative) are but I’ve been trying to take it when I remember and get more sun.
The parking garage is expensive. They really need to validate parking here.

Dr. Musher is great! He looks into root causes of problems (not just symptoms) and does not over-​prescribe medicine. He is open to more natural and alternative therapies and is interested in holistic and optimal health of his patients. I have been seeing him for over 2 years and am confident in his opinion. When he would like a different opinion or expert to weigh-​in, he has given me outstanding referrals for specialists. He checked on me daily when I was hospitalized last year, and although he is very busy and has to come back to the exam room 3 or 4 times (sometimes) he answers all of my questions thoroughly. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

I have been to Dr. Musher’s office twice and I really do not want to have to go again.
I felt completely rushed both times I was in his office and I felt like I could not ask any questions because he was talking so fast and he basically rushed me out of his office. I hadn’t been to a family doctor in a few years so I had some questions I wanted to ask and I didn’t get to because he was so impatient.
I have to go back one more time, but after that I will be looking for a new doctor.
