History

Established in 2012.

Like a lot of businesses, SimplyGenie started with a problem.

Simply Genie founders Andrea Walker and Valerie Biaggi are two busy wives and mothers that didn’t have the time to throw the perfect party. So they created a service that does.

Andrea and Valerie met by chance — or maybe by destiny. Living just blocks away from each other, their children were born the same day, at the same hospital! With a start like that, friendship was inevitable. So when their kids turned two, Andrea suggested a joint birthday party.

That party was the beginning of it all, and the two friends started wondering: Why isn’t there anything out there that helps busy parents throw a truly one-​of-​a-​kind party? Something that eliminates all of this effort and stress? A service that offers unique, quality decorations and the necessary party ware in one place?

The combination Andrea and Valerie were looking for didn’t exist. So they decided to create it and Sim​ply​Ge​nie​.com was born.
