Over-​promised, under-​delivered, over-​charged: promised better work than we would get elsewhere, that it would be done right and they would even touch up the wood threshold pieces inbetween rooms; I requested high gloss finish, they tried talking me out of it multiple times, but I told them that’s what I want so they finally agreed. I came home from work the day the job was finished to find the finish was NOT high gloss, the baseboards were splashed with stain, the threshold pieces inbetween rooms looked like they had been started but not completed, some spots have excess coverage while others look dull like they were not covered enough, some spots feel and look rough with sanding marks and there were pieces of hair or brush stuck all over. I explained my concerns and they said the hair was from my two dogs, whose fur does not match the hairs in the floor and who are kept in the lowest level family room — away from the refinished floors. They said high gloss floor is not popular right now, but they assured me they will come back and touch up their work, likely Tuesday because they will be in the area. They never returned or fixed anything. I paid double what other companies quoted because I thought it’s worth it if the work is being done right. Instead, I overpaid for inconsistent, poor work done to their liking, not the service I requested and payed for. I have since had visitors over who have asked if we did the floors ourselves because they can recommend someone good to do them over the right way… EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

This is the second time I have had A&B Bogdan do work for me. First time, was re sanding & polishing our floors in our 1880’s home, great job, very very happy. 2 years later we needed hardwood floors laid in our coach house. Again, superior work and professionalism. Unbeatable prices and fast workers. Do yourself a favor and look no further these guys are fantastic at what they do.
