Shah the owner runs a tight ship here. He is incredibly knowledgable about various identification and fingerprinting requirements. He makes an effort in the best way he knows how, to help each and every person that walks in. I have had photos taken here for visas, prints for background checks and never had a single problem. We got all of my wife’s immigration ID requirements done here too. The prices are fair and the service is quick. They are also now official livescan authorized which allows them to do digital fingerprints which is what I got done today for my State Bar Application.

They don’t have a mirror, which I think is absolute necessity for the place doing profession photos. My hair was messed up from this weather and I couldn’t fix it. Is it Norma not having a mirror when you doing professional photo service? How are we supposed to check our hair, put some lipstick?

Believe the hype! I needed passport photos and, based on stellar Unilocal reviews, came to A Fingerprinting US Photo. During a Friday lunch hour, there was almost no wait, despite regular business in a very tiny spot, and everyone was the ultimate in professionalism and kindness. If I manage to again lose my passport, I’ll look forward to coming back here!

Never thought I’d write a review for a fingerprint place, but had to… this place is great! Opted to take the El in because, parking in this area would be an expensive disaster… very close to blue/​purple lines. Shah the owner, was an absolute pleasure and hilarious while I waited. Needed to get fingerprinted for a medical license through the state and they knew exactly what to do and walked me through all the necessary steps. Was in and out within a half hour. Great experience and customer service!

Mr. Shah had me in and out today in less than 5 minutes with my new passport photos, for less than $ 10. While waiting, we had a very pleasant conversation. Such a nice gentleman. Please don’t retire Mr. Shah — — I’ll need to return again in another 10 years for my next passport renewal and I’m counting on you to be there for me!

mr shah is the best! of course his ladies working there are sweethearts also! make sure you know that he moved to across the street but this address is correct! great guy and pleasant and he gets it right the first time. had 2 renew my passport (new photos) but not quickly as i won’t be off until the end of the year. however, i thought why not get everything in order ahead of time. i noticed this morning that the dept of state cashed my check so all is well and my p port is on it’s way! thanks again mr. shah as he also did my photos and fingerprints when i was still working and needed a perc card for a little security job. now I am semi-​retired hey hey! but still thought of mr shah and his great staff 4 all of this. i also can get free photos w/​my aaa somewhere but what the heck mr shah is a great business man and does the job reasonably so I paid his nominal fee!

Sha is the owner of this fine establishment and he is definitely one of the friendliest people i’ve done business with. I highly recommend getting the digital fingerprints instead of the black ink because the quality is better, the process is faster and your prints get get stored in their system for future purposes.

Suburb! Had to get a passport photo for our 2 week old son. This place was professional and super helpful! They even keep them on file in case you need more copies later. A bit tough to find, but well worth it. (Corner of Adams and clark by 7eleven.) .excellent service! They even charged my iPhone for me ;)

It’s located all the way on the back side of the Marquette building. In addition, the CTA Monroe Blue Line station is right outside of the front entrance. However, it’s also accessible from the CTA Adams/​wabash stop. All you need to do is to walk two (2) blacks west and turn on Dearborn.
It’s a little booth featuring the Notary Public on the left side, and the passport photo service on the right.
Before they take your picture, be sure to check in with the photographer/​attendance and to notify him/​her what service you need.
They charge $ 8.95 for two (2) copies of U.S. Passport-​style photos. They prefer cash, but I believe credit cards are accepted with an additional surcharge.
I first set of the U.S. Passport-​style photos were taken at the Foto Tomsynski on far-​west Belmont Ave. in the Monclare neighborhood (near Harlem Ave.). They did a good job, and obviously they were accepted for my Naturalization application back in September 2014. However, he charged $ 17 for his service. I thought it was a bit high.
I’m having an initial interview for the U.S. Naturalization and they do recommend to bring couple more photos with me, though not mandatory. Overall, I was satisfied with the entire process; it was quick and efficient.

Maybe I went in on Columbus Day, service was quick and efficient. You may see different addresses, 125 S Clark and 140 S Dearborn. They both lead to the same building, same place — just from two different entrances. Also, some previous reviewers said they charged $ 20 for 2 passport photos. Not in my case. I paid $ 10 for 2 photos and got some change back. Maybe they have reduced their price?
I highly recommend this place for passport photos. In my book, they certainly beat CVS or Walgreens.

By far the best experience I’ve had with passport photos. I had taken passport photos twice before at different walgreens prior to finding US Photo. 5 minutes, 2 photos and I was out of there. No worries about dimensions etc. because they know their stuff.

So quick and efficient! I was in and out in 5 minutes. Came here thanks to all the great reviews on Unilocal… everyone was right! My passport pictures that i took at the post offical back in LA were rejected so she double checked the requirements and had me out of there in just minutes. Must also add how friendly the staff is!

I needed a passport photo and looked for a place near work. These guys came up on a Google search, so I walked in early this morning. I was done and on my way in less than 15 minutes and the photos look great. And if I ever need prints, they have them on file. Very good experience all around.
