Established in 1996.

The Academy started in 1996 with the idea that everyone should be able to pursue their happiness. That there is no real difference between public and private law enforcement and that both should receive the same high quality training and education. This is what we do…

Meet the Manager

Joe M.

Manager

Founder and head instructor, Joe Miranda, has been teaching firearms and auxiliary law enforcement tools to Police, Security and responsible civilians for over 15 years.

Joe has received two high honor degrees in Criminal Justice Administration and Criminal Justice Public Service. He’s continuing his education as a part time law student at a State University.

Joe has well over a thousand hours of certified police and security training in various fields and has worked in the police and security fields as a supervisor and trainer. He currently works as an adviser and consultant to three major security firms and the Academy conducts their training classes.

Joe also serves various communities as a Sergeant with a police organization where he also helps train thier officers as the organization’s firearms instructor and range master.

Sgt. Miranda is a nationally certified Law Enforcement firearms instructor, an OC spray, ASP baton, defensive and use of force instructor and more.
