Very happy with the service from accurate locks. Jay responded to my late night call quickly and was able to get me into my apartment in a timely manner. I had a difficult lock and Jay tried all his options to get the door open, and it worked! he was professional and honest about my options. Thanks for the quick response!

Got my locks for my home redone and replaced. After the work was completed, I was invoiced a bill that was much higher than I was quoted and expected. If I knew the bill was going to much higher than what was originally estimated, I would have gone with another company.
Make sure you get your price upfront and have them stick to it! Overcharges and rips you off for any service.

I called and Jon was at the uhaul storage in 30mins with traffic! Jon was AMAZING!!! Honestly I thought it was going to be a pain to get this padlock off at the U haul storage but he got it done in 5 minutes and was so helping!!!
Please ask for Jon when you need a lock smith!

After being told by my first few Unilocal searches they were too busy, or put me on hold for 15 minutes, I finally tried Accurate Lock. Quick story — I will use them
again first if needed. Jay was quick (20minutes to my place, and picked the lock in a few seconds) Jay was also friendly,
Helpful and made a bad situation as easy as possible. He was even great with my nervous, vocal and very cold puppy. Will save number for future emergencies, and highly recommend.

I should preface by saying that (unfortunately) this is not the first time I’ve been locked out of my apartment this year. The first time it happened, the service I called had me in my apartment in less than a few minutes. It was almost too easy.
I called this service and arranged for a time to meet. I was in the process of getting my car towed and missed his confirmation call. He called again and gave me a bit of an attitude «I just called you and it went to voicemail… do you need our service or what??». I said, of course, and confirmed the time. The guy arrived on time but was clearly in a bad mood, but we all have bad days. He started fiddling around with the lock and after about 30 minutes, he said it was «impossible» to pick and that he’d have to drill the lock to let me in. Of course, this was an extra charge. I told him that I had this done before and the guy was successful really quickly. He said it must have been luck as he is «really good at what I do».
Clearly.
So, after 35 minutes, $ 180 later, and a damaged lock, I was finally back into my apartment. FYI — the previous service only charged me $ 118 and this was on New Year’s Day.

Guests came for the holiday weekend and put my key in the non-​functioning lock. The key got stuck and would not budge, leaving me stuck in my apartment with my key on the outside. Called at 8:30 am on Memorial Day, and Jay came promptly to assist. He was extremely thorough and very professional. I will definitely be recommending Accurate Lock Service’s to anyone who unfortunately needs a lock smith!

John helped me out. When most people would have gotten mad at the situation … He stayed cool and popped the lock open. Which allowed me to go home after a long day and feed my cats & catch the Hawks game.
Would definitely call again and ask for him by name.

We had an issue on the front door lock of our condo. I called James at 8pm on Tuesday night and he came over the same night to inspect the lock. He was back the very next day and replaced the lock for us. He was also very polite and prices seemed fair. I would recommend

We could not have asked for better service from this company. They came out in a snowstorm within 30 minutes! The worker was very polite, explained everything that he was doing, and charged a reasonable price given the time of day, that it was a Sunday, and the noise from our alarm was extremely deafening. We recommend this company to anybody in Chicago looking for «accurate» service.
