I have a love\hate relationship with Aldi. Its very conveniently located to me, so that is a plus. I do like much of the products, but it is buyer beware. I recently found out that the maker of the Carelli extra virgin olive oil has been sued because it isn’t. I should have known better considering the low price. Also, while the produce is decent, I’ve found you’d better use it within two days or you just might find a lump of mold in your fridge rather than the mushrooms you just purchased 3 days before. But by far my greatest peave are the Huge and very slow moving line at checkout. Note that I said line and not lines. Even if they do have two lanes open, each will have a line with 8 – 10 people in them. I don’t mind the quarter for the cart or even paying for a bag, but it drives me mad to stand in a huge line when I just want to get the hell out of there. It’s not the kind of store you can just stop in to pick up milk or a loaf of bread. The 15 minute wait to check out is not worth it. I have left my two items and walked out in disgust many times.

Just a quick update, on behalf of my husband. He is the one who always goes to Aldi now and buys all the stuff he likes. I’m on a bit more strict diet and need to eat organic so I typically go to Trader Joe’s. However, he finds a lot of great«knock off» items much cheaper here –especially the snacks he likes such as potato chips or mixed nuts. So, after all this time, still a solid grocery store to save a substantial amount of money.

I love my neighborhood aldi! A great place to save money when stocking up on most groceries. I’ve been pleased with their produce for their most part. It’s a great place to buy avocados! Bread is good, and some of the cheeses are good as well! Not sure of the meats. As with any aldi and some other stores, lines can get backed up but if it means saving money in groceries I’m ok with a little wait.

Not a fan of this Aldi. It seem more disorganized than most and not very clean. The products are your typical Aldi products. The staff is friendly and courteous. I prefer going to the newer Aldis.

I don’t find myself quite as enthusiastic as others about this store. To me it’s your typical Aldi’s which means some of their food and merchandise is really good at an affordable price. On the other hand some of their food will make you feel like you’re eating at somebody’s house who’s about 80 years old and they will eat anything as long as it’s cheap. There are actually a couple things that for me make it worthwhile to give this store a 4 star rating instead of my initial thoughts of only giving it 3 stars. First is the fact that in addition to all the other off brand foods they carry occasionally you can find name brand things at a reasonable price like 2 liter bottles of Coke or Gatorade. The second thing that makes me rate it as 4 stars is that the other day I was there 10 minutes before they opened and was pretty disgusted that I’d not bothered to check the hours they are open before leaving home. As I was debating whether to just leave and come back later they came and unlocked the doors 10 minutes before their posted store hours. Usually employees are inclined to unlock the doors on time or late and lock them early at the end of the day. So for being considerate and not making their customers wait until the exact opening time I say thank you! If I was rating on customer service alone I’d definitely give it 5 stars, but due to a lot of items for sale being what I consider sub-par I think 4 stars is fair.

This is one of the largest, cleanest Aldi’s I have ever been to. Their selection is great! And as everyone says the prices can’t be beat and I these«generic» products are EVERY bit as good if not better than the«real» brands. I am so glad to have this in my neighborhood!

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 25 years and before the remodel only went once. After the remodel, i go at least every 2 weeks, the roof parking lot got me SOLD. Place is clean and prices are heavenly! Ever since Aldi, I am no longer a BRAND snob. My kids absolutely love the cereal — Parents — they are EXACTLY like the name brand! Buy 2 — it’s worth it! The meats and frozen items are delish! The place is clean and the workers are fast and nice. Thank you Aldi!

LOVE Aldi. Little fact: Owner, Theo Albrecht, also co owns Trader Joe’s. This remodeled Aldi is AWESOME! Aside from the convenient rooftop parking this Aldi seems to have a lot more to choose from compared to other Aldi locations. Many surprisingly vegan options which makes me a REALLY happy camper.(This last visit I discovered vegan marzipan stollen and holiday cookies ^_^) Prices are amazing. I really can’t say enough. I’m thankful for this place. Keep up the awesomeness Aldi :)

Pre-recession, I would shop at this Aldi between 10:00 and 11:00 in the morning and, practically, have the store all to myself. Now that the economy is in the toilet, the place is PACKED. There is definitely a lot more foot traffic these days, for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, I continue to shop here because, even though some of Aldi’s prices have risen, they’re still a better bargain that Jewel or Dominick’s. It’s my main destination for pantry — fillers(i.e. flour, pancake syrup, canned fruits and vegetables, and sugar) as well as their killer — frozen desserts. Especially, the $ 4.99 mini — eclairs and cream puffs! Perfect companions for that cup of java! Also, try their glazed donuts which you nuke for a few seconds. They’re small in size, but pack a lot of flavor.
