I’ve been in the insurance industry for almost 20 years. We pride ourselves on providing the proper coverage at a cost that’s affordable. We are experts in Car Insurance, Condo Insurance, Renters Insurance, Home Insurance, Commercial Insurance Motorcycle Insurance and Life Insurance.

The Joe Schneider Agency isn’t your typical insurance agency. Our foundation is twofold: to provide world class customer service and to give back to our community.

Is it possible to accomplish both you may ask? Absolutely. We are a team of 8 licensed agents and everyone buys into our culture. The customer is the sole focus and priority. This isn’t about getting the sale, it’s about doing the right thing and seeing that people are properly covered. Every team member gets 3 days throughout the year where they are able to volunteer for the charity of their choice. We also give back through our referral program. Every business wants referrals, but people want to refer to us, because it gives them an opportunity to make a difference in our community as well. For every referral, we will make a $ 10 donation to the charity of your choice (And we will throw in a $ 10 gift card so you can have lunch on us).

History

Established in 2005.

The Joe Schneider Agency opened it’s doors on June 1^st, 2005. In a little over 10 years, we’ve grown our agency and now service over 8,000 policies. In April of 2015, we opened a second location in Lincoln Park and are consistently in the top 10% of agencies around the country.

All those accolades are nice, but we are most proud of the work we do in the community. We donate $ 10 for every customer referral, and we’ve raised enough to do things like adapt a car for a local cancer survivor with visual impairments and help out a boy battling cancer.

Business Owner

My passion is giving back and helping people. I have been in the insurance industry since I graduated from the University of Richmond in 1998. The insurance agency allows me to make sure people are properly protected and affords me the opportunity to give back to the community. As a 21 year cancer survivor, I am regularly speaking to survivors and non-​profits about my experience with cancer and ways we can improve access to information in Chicago. I also travel to Washington DC every year to sit down with our representatives and Senators to discuss proper cancer research funding.

I’m extremely very proud of the team we have in place and love how they all buy into the culture of wanting to give back, help people, and truly leave their mark on this world.
