Lee is the dude. Gives you a square deal. Tells it like it is if you shouldn’t get an adjustment made. Knows what he’s doing and wants to convey that knowledge to his customers. Not too much knowledge though; he’s got a business to run!

Great dry cleaners, reasonable prices and alterations are always very well done. Friendly customer service that remembers you glad i found them!

Super friendly service. And excellent workmanship. I needed pants hemmed and he was able to do it the same day. Will definitely be coming here regularly for my dry cleaning and tailoring.

I really like this dry cleaner with one exception: if I don’t pick up my items within a day or two of them being ready, they smell faintly of cigarette smoke. I really wish this wasn’t the case because the prices are great, quality is top-​notch and the owner is really nice. Did a great job with minor repairs as well (fixing hems, etc.). Wish they were open a bit later and on Sundays for a few hours.

This deceptively modest dry cleaning shop does top-​notch work for an extremely reasonable price. Quick turnaround and excellent tailoring, too. The guy who runs it is very low-​key and personable. Highly recommended.

I found this dry cleaner through Unilocal and even though I have to drive to get there, I do really like the service I receive and the price I pay to get my garments cleaned. The man who owns the shop is very friendly and enjoys conversing with his customers. He remembers your name even if you don’t stop by frequently.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. I wouldn’t write about it if it weren’t for the superior customer service and quality job they did. I dropped off two pairs of beloved jeans that had worn in the groin (I’m a biker), a dress with a gaping pocket hole, and a cardigan that needed buttons re-​sewn. He the pieces look brand new and he even fastened the bundle of clothes to my back so I could bike home. I will definitely go back for all future tailoring/​cleaning needs.

My wife has dropped off our work clothes twice in the last 2 months and each time they have hemmed a rip in one of her shirts or dresses free of charge without even being asked to do so! They just found an imperfection in the garment and fixed it up. Better yet — they didn’t even tell us about it! My wife put the clothing on and noticed the repair each time. We were both dumbfounded! That is the kind of service you never expect to find in any industry — and we happily recommend them to all.
Furthermore, on a later visit they noticed our clothes had cat hair on them (we have 2 cats) and they gave us a free lint roller to help fix the problem!
In addition, after a few visits they remember your name and you don’t even have to bring your ticket.
Finally, we are moving away from this area of town soon but will still be making the drive over to use Ashland Byron Cleaners for as long as we’re in Chicago.

Ashland Byron is by far the best cleaners I have ever gone to. The owner remembered us after about 2 visits, walks the dry cleaning out to my car, and is reasonably priced. Astoundingly, he has hemmed pants and skirts for me WITHOUT ME ASKING. The only reason I hadn’t asked was because I had forgotten… but he always catches what I forget. Seriously, who does that anymore?
We are moving to a different neighborhood but plan to continue to use him. He is truly the type of local business that we will go out of our way to support.

Great dry cleaner! Always asks when I need it back, and always has it ready when he says. I have my jeans and pants hemmed here (I’m short) and he only charges $ 10 a pair. Prices are very reasonable for dry cleaning. Even though you get a ticket, you don’t really need it because he remembers you. And he gives out free lint rollers at the holidays!

Now why would I bother reviewing something as mundane as a dry cleaners? Because these really friendly guys ever so rarely wreck or lose your clothes, and they fess up when they screw up. In addition to being very reasonably priced, they know their customers. When you walk in, they will go get your clothes. They don’t need no stinking tickets to find your stuff!
One of the rare usually neighborhood or convenience driven businesses that is well worth going out of your way for.
Oh yes, …when do you want your clothing back? You name it; you get it. In a pinch? Down to your last clean shirt? They have never said no to me regardless of how quickly I have requested turnaround.
Been a customer for eight years already.
