I work in the building and needed a $ 25 money order on an expedited basis so I stopped at Associated Bank. They would not sell me a money order because I was not a bank customer. I explained that I just paid their ATM fee to withdraw the money needed for the money order and that I was willing to pay another fee to get the money order. They still wouldn’t do it, notwithstanding the fact that gas stations, the post office and every other bank will sell money orders to anyone.
My feelings on Associated Bank went from neutral to hatred in a single transaction. I walked across the street to Citibank and they handled it without a problem.

This Associated Bank branch is the best around. The employees are always very nice and helpful and they even call me by name. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because at times the line is rather long.
