History
Established in 1952.
Blum Animal Hospital was started by Dr. Sanford Blum and later owned by Dr. Sheldon Rubin, the hospital is now owned by Dr. Robert Dann, Dr. Julia Georgesen, and Dr. Natalie Marks. Blum Animal Hospital has proudly served the Lakeview pet community for more than 60 years. From its start as a single veterinarian practice employing one part-time kennel assistant and its owner sleeping in the back, to its current standing as an award-winning hospital with eight veterinarians and a support staff of more than 50, Blum Animal Hospital has cared for the animal companions of four generations of Chicagoans.
