Meet the Business Owner

Jane M.

Business Owner

Jane studied animal behavior as an undergraduate and got a PhD in evolutionary biology at the University of Chicago. After graduating she wanted to stay in the Chicago area so she taught as an adjunct professor at Columbia College, University of Chicago and Northwestern but supplemented her income as a dog walker. She became interested in training and so worked as an assistant in a dog training class and then worked at a dog daycare facility, first in the daycare and later as a trainer. In 2004 she stopped teaching her college courses and became a full time dog trainer. She is a CPDT (certified pet dog trainer) and enjoys learning new techniques to help both the humans and the dogs get as much as possible out of her classes.
