Cassona

We have had our Rowe sectional from Cassona for almost a month, and are very happy with it. It seems like the reviewers here, on the whole, have already nailed it: Angel and company are terrific. They’re experts, and they really try to make you an expert, so that you can make informed decisions. I walked out of Cassona really feeling like we made a sound, informed decision, and I cannot say that about a lot of places.
A truly rare, pleasant and ultimately rewarding experience.

To begin, I do not yet have my couch but I have to compliment Cassona just for the experience of shopping for a couch. At the beginning of my visits to the store it was just to enjoy the beauty of everything. All the pieces are amazing!
I visited this store many a time with various friends and family members — they agreed with my assessment. Then there’s John and Angel. No matter the time or day I was there John and Angel were ready to help and just as ready to stay out of the way. My father brings his own measuring tape holstered to his belt. Angel remarked «They don’t need our help. This man came prepared!»
However, their help and advice is invaluable and they think of every detail of which I had no idea could be involved in a couch. I’m fully confident that I’ll love my couch and I’ll update when I get it.

Jessica and I love working with the Cassona team — Alma, Angel, and John. They are very friendly and really know their stuff! We like that they work with domestic manufacturers as opposed to big box stores that source primarily from overseas. Not to mention, you can customize to your liking.
We purchased a couch earlier this year and have been very pleased with the quality of the piece as well as the service delivered by the Cassona team. John guided us throughout the entire process from design to caring for the fabric.
Currently, we are taking a look at purchasing a leather accent chair. We stopped by the shop last weekend to take a look. Alma and Angel took the time to educate us on the leather varieties and provided us with a couple of great options. We are so excited to purchase within the next few months!

John — you the MAN. This review is dedicated to John at Cassona. And so begins my letter (only slightly dramatized for effect).
Dear John,
Before I walked into Cassona I had the fear of the sofa gods wedged deep in my soul. Wash codes? Mid-​century styling? Rolled arms? What is happening? Please no. You saw me for the deer-​in-​the-​headlights I was and adapted accordingly. You did an outstanding job of giving me your best suggestions based on what I liked. As time went on, and you thought I could handle it, you slowly gave me information about why the couches you had suggested were high quality. All the while being patient with my naivety and indecisiveness. It was perfect.
And in the end? I purchased an outstanding sofa. (Mid-​century light grey with WS wash codes for those of you playing at home.)

I bought my furniture from them and they have such a great staff!

Just moved to the area and walked by the store a couple times. Window had great items so we went in. We really liked a lot of pieces, but I’m so indecisive so we went in another 4 times. Each time the staff was amazing, patient, helpful but not at all pushy. They gave you their honest opinion and let you go from there. Angel and John are amazing. Finally on the 4^th time in, we purchased our sectional sofa. John was so incredibly patient with me as I walked around the store a million times, carrying swatches all around, then he stayed late to make sure our order went in on the same day. I highly recommend this place and plan to be back to get more items very soon.

I’ll preface this review by saying this was among the last stops we went to when looking for a couch. We tried everything from large chains to other small boutiques and everything in the middle. John Zotti is by far the most helpful sales associate I have ever met in the history of my furniture buying life. He went into specifics about the quality of each different manufacturer without being asked and possessed a level of knowledge that others did not come close to as well as informing us of what to look for if we were to buy elsewhere. The store carries manufacturers that you can find in other local stores (Younger, Rowe, etc.), but the prices are comparable and the customer service is second to none. If you want to find a great sofa and receive a free education on what to look for — go here and ask for John, you will not be disappointed!

Visited these guys twice over the past week (2 weekends in a row). Worked with the manager (Angel). He was very pleasant to work with, really just a nice experience. They have a great selection of high quality modern furnishings and accessories. Very reasonably priced as well. I wish we had discovered this place earlier on in our shopping process, we likely would have bought a decent amount more furniture from them.

I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with Cassona:
1) I purchased a Rowe sofa from Cassona a few years ago that I absolutely LOVE! However, I’ve had some issues with the springs. The parts are under warranty but full warranty service with labor is expired on the sofa.
I reached out to Cassona to ask them if they could assist me with figuring out how to get it repaired, and Alma not only first contacted Rowe and found out all of the details about what was and was not covered, and how to handle things through ROWE, if needed, but she actually spent the next month getting quotes from local repair shops and was able to help me find a very inexpensive, but highly qualified, in-​home repair person.
2) I purchased a coffee table that was marked down to sell, first they gave me a huge discount on the delivery, and then, when the delivery person was out sick, Alma showed up with a young man from the shop. They brought the table to me in her vehicle and assembled it for me instead of making me wait and reschedule with their delivery service.
I love their interesting and beautiful furniture, and I can’t say enough good things about their service. This is truly a fantastic place to shop for furniture!

Really like the contemporary yet warm-​homey furniture, art and accessories here! I returned twice in two days!

I just received my couches today. The customer service is good in the store not so great by phone. My order took a lot to be delivered. The quality it’s average to be honest I was expecting better quality. I will update my review once I get more use of my couch.

This is the first place that I check when I need any new furniture. I bought my first «grown-​up» sofa from John last year and have been a loyal customer ever since. The reason is because of the staff (John has been my main salesman) and the care that is given to make sure that everything is perfect from the initial order to any issues that might come up once the pieces are in your home. The prices are fair, the selection is great, and overall it is a fantastic place to find your new furniture.

In pursuit of a couch for our new apartment, boyfriend and I wandered into Cassona yesterday afternoon and did some test sitting in couches. We had previously had a really rotten day of couch shopping at discount stores like Ashley, The Room Place and Value City Furniture, etc. These places did not have fabric options and I found, perhaps surprisingly, not that much cheaper than Cassona … plus most of the couches were ungoldy uncomfortable and certainly of a lower quality.
I wanted a gray couch which is apparently impossible, IMPOSSIBLE I tell you, to get at these aforementioned discount stores. Walking into Cassona I was presented with at least 3 beautiful gray couches plus tons and tons of fabric options. All the couches were very comfortable too, it was quite hard to decide since I was finally faced with beautiful couches in fabrics and colors I loved that had actual lumbar support.
We ended up deciding on a 3 person sofa with chaise. The chaise is moveable/​removable as it comes with a long cushion and an ottoman underneath that can be moved to the middle or other side of the couch, plus an extra cushion if you want to remove the ottoman entirely. The versatility to change the couch is a great option. The couches all seem to come with 2 accent pillows too and we got to choose through many many more fabrics for those.
What I liked most about Cassona, other than the beautiful and not absurdly expensive furniture, was the helpfulness and honesty of the staff. John helped us yesterday and offered lots of helpful tips in choosing a couch and a fabric, explained the different kinds of fabric and how they wear and should be cleaned, explained the warranty and didn’t pressure us to purchase. It was nice not feeling uncomfortable about coming back the next day to think it over through the night.
We did in fact come back today and the owner helped us place our order and answered more questions. Everything about Cassona is class, from the style of furniture to the care from the staff. Quite a different experience from Ashley Furniture and Value City where I didn’t have a singe sales rep offer any information on how the fabric wears or how one should clean it etc. I cannot wait for the couch to arrive!
Living around the corner I will definitely be popping in to check out other pieces from time to time.

Having a partner who is a director of interior architecture makes picking out décor or furniture extra difficult. While I love modernity, I also value comfort. Decorating our new condo was not going to be an easy task.
After chatting my favorite Unilocaler, Nicole V., we visited Cassona to look at their furniture pieces.
We worked with Cassona’s awesome duo, Angel and Jon, in selecting, personalizing, and purchasing a sofa.
Our gorgeous klein sofa sectional was made of a tough and edgy, yet soft fabric, had an extra wide chaise perfect for naps or cuddling, and a possessed a modern look while still providing back support and having various pillows. After our couch was delivered, we returned to Cassona to check out a bed frame we had seen. Sure enough, we fell in love. Our king sized bed frame was hand-​crafted and stained by the talented Canadian manufacturer, Huppe. We chose the Silk design due to its natural walnut material, and the headboard with five joint sections (or reveals) which peek through to the wall behind. We felt obligated to also purchase two nightstands («his» and «hers,» if you will) which attach to the bed frame and float above the floor giving the entire piece a ‘feng shui’ feeling of warmth and relaxation.
Cassona kept us up to date with when our furniture would arrive to their store and when it would be delivered to our condo. The delivery guys were quick in setting up the pieces, cleaning up, and describing any details about the pieces (i.e. how to separate and combine the different sections of the sofa).
Best of all, other than what has already been stated, they LOVE Unilocalers. I saved 10% off my entire purchase (trust me, it added up) simply by checking in to the store on the Unilocal app. I’m all about a good deal! I love this store. The guys are really helpful. I usually spend a lot of time lurking before I come to a decision about buying a piece of furniture. I made my first «adult purchase» of a sofa from here a little over a year ago. Good, clean lines. I haven’t had any problems with mine, but was assured that if there were, I could contact the store immediately for resolution. Today I just received delivery of my new coffee table. Delivery guys 15 minutes early even! They put the table together quickly with no fuss, and I am now typing out my review from the comfort of my awesome lift top coffee table!

While walking to Starbucks one day I went in here to browse and saw a beautiful painting that I was thinking I had to have. I talked to the staff and they were SO nice it was unbelievable how comfortable he made me feel. I came back with my GF so she could see how beautiful the painting was and he let me put money down and pick it up later. I finally got it home and it looks beautiful in our space. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped in the other day just to take a look around. They have a pretty good selection and some comfortable looking items. Also, the prices seemed reasonable.
What I liked best was the staff. The guy was SO amazingly friendly I felt like I was on a hidden video show or something. Maybe it was the Zombie Pub Crawl that put everyone in a great mood.
The guy definitely earned Cassona a spot on my «friendliest places» list

I recently bought a sofa here. Angel was super helpful when picking it out. There are a lot more things to choose when ordering than I had planned for, but they made it easy to do. The sofa is made in ‘Merica, which is nice, and was custom made shipped in 6 weeks.
The quality seems very good, and the guarantee was also pretty solid. They will replace the foam basically forever if it ever sags. The price was pretty decent too, certainly not IKEA, but quite a bit cheaper than Crate and Barrel and the like, and it looks great.

Update. Such contemporary, stylish, not over-​the-​top furniture at affordable prices. Interesting accessories as well and the whole team is so friendly and helpful. They provide great design suggestions and they are not pushy. They were so patient with us as we shopped and even played with my daughter and helped her walk!
Tip: They have a parking lot in the back. Wish I had known!
Didn’t end up buying any furniture but the owner (?) was so friendly. She even offered for us to bring the chair home to see if it looks good there. For most of their furniture, they have many fabric choices to choose from. Would love to go back for other furniture.

Lots of the standard, practical furniture pieces most people need at least a few of (yeah, I’d love to fill my place with Eames and Nelson, but I’ve got two college educations to fund) but lots of unique stuff.
If you want something funky and modern but of decent quality, this is a destination store. I fell in love with the chair/​bench made from a gathered bundle of vertical wood. Now that you know I’m not a furniture or architecture critic, check out the photo I uploaded —
. This chair was incredibly comfortable and designed like nothing I’ve ever seen.
