CAT VON KANG is a contemporary art gallery featuring original works of art by Suk Ja Kang and Cat Zeman. Longtime collaborators in the art world, in 2014, Kang and Zeman embarked on a creative collaboration that breaks out of the traditional gallery model in favor of a spirited and broadly accessible space. CAT VON KANG is in constant flux as new collections are displayed often and experimental parties/events take place on a regular basis. Spontaneity, aesthetic appreciation, and a passion for contributing to the vibrant Chicago art community are some of the guiding principles behind the gallery.
