Belated Congratulations to the 2015 Stanley Cup Champions!
During a recent trip to Chicago, we passed by the United Center. Saw many of the Chicago Blackhawks statues. Very Cool indeed. Personally, I am not a fan. Still, I gave them 4 stars because they are a hockey team to be respected. 3 Championships in 6 years is very impressive. Been 22 years since my team won.

Three championships in six years, bringing the dynasty era to Chicago. Need I say more?

Solid 3.95 stars… they should be more dominating this year though I’m being picky, they have won the Cup twice in the past 5 years isn’t too shabby ;)
Always an exciting team to watch; fast, skillful, and Hossa continually amazes me. this guy can play for another 5 years, so, so strong. no wonder they call him a bull.
Hope Kane’s ok soon, and Toews is an awesome heart and soul of this team.
Even the coach I like, this Q guy is super intense and wants to win. Great stay at home dman in his days too.
Was in Chicago a few years back, too bad the arena is way out there; impressed by the size of the parking lot encircling around it, not possible with our DT location.

So for review #300 I was looking for one of those conundrum type places… is it a 3, 4 or gasp maybe a 2.
Here is my issue, growing up in the Chicago suburbs I was familiar with the Hawks. While baseball is more my thing the Hawks did grow on me. When I was in college I started buying part of a season ticket package. Yes, Chelios, Roenick, Belfour and the gang were fun to watch, they got their butts handed to them by Pittsburgh. This is where my general dislike begins.
While putting nothing on the ice they continued to jack the prices through the roof and still not show home games on the tv, so I stopped going. I was once given tickets from work and these were some premium seats. We were still asked to move closer because there was no one there, the place/​team were pathetic.
Yes Dollar Bill has passed and they have taken great strides in returning the fan base. I often go to games now but rarely pay for them. While I am happy for their success and the great vibe then bring the city, I’m just not back to full buyin mode.

First off my hats off to the organization for not only hosting a young man with Down’s Syndrome, but to you for hosting the active duty Sailor and what I believe to be a WWII veteran for the National Anthem. Then, the anthem. I shed tears each and every time it is done with love and spirit, and my tears FLOWED during this one.
(Hawks won 6 – 2 BTW)
Jim McMahon at the halftime show was a nice touch, and unexpected, plus the kids hockey teams and their skating contest was icing on the cake.

Not being a hardcore sports fanatic and not growing up on Chicago I was not born and bred all things Blackhawks, but rather they have won me over by their sheer talent, tenacity and team spirit. This team is especially gifted and worthy of my respect and loyalty. They are part of what makes Chicago great!

this never gets old. if you dont get chills at the national anthem, there is something wrong with you. This makes you feel like a true Chicagoan more than any other professional sport in the city. Lets go Hawks!!!

Ok I’m from Chicago, I’m obviously going to be a fan of the Blackhawks. They are good (which all Chicago teams aren’t) and fun to watch. I’ve been to a couple of hawks games and, although expensive, I’ve always had a good time. Plus… the players are easy on the eyes.

United Center is easily accessible, has tons of restrooms, and a fair amount of dining options. They have friendly but adequate security staff too. Best of all, it’s the home of the Chicago Bulls & Chicago Blackhawks.

The BLACKHAWKS! I have been a fan for a very long time now! I have the license plate — etc most importantly respect for the team win or lose!
I watch every game with my mom. It was last year that she decided every team member on the Blackhawks roster is one of her grandsons. Oh she gets quite upset if a member is hurt. Yes even coach Q is one of her grandsons :-)
Keep up the great work and you have a house full in Melrose Park who gather as a family to watch every game!

Best Sports team in all of Chicago. While I support my Cubbies and root on the Bears, there is nothing like watching the Hawks take on any other team in the league. The boys play like a TEAM! They got each other’s backs and they work their asses off to win each game!
I was never much into hockey, but when I met my husband, I quickly learned to love hockey and now enjoy watching a Hawks game over any other sport.

Win or lose, going to a Blackhawks game is always a blast! It’s even on my fiancé’s bucket list. Go hawks!

Love the HAWKS! Even pre-​season there was a great amount of electricity in the air. They do a great job of keeping the fans involved and excited through out the game. Not much else to say either you are a fan or not.

It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? When we moved to Chicago in ’92 it looked like the Hawks back then– JR, Eddie, Chelie with Mike Keenan were oh so close. But these guys are the real deal, but a thank you to those past great Hawks!

As the Blackhawks said in their Boston Globe newspaper advertisement, the Bruins ”demonstrated respect, good sportsmanship and a genuine love for the great game of hockey.” While the City of Boston also showed it’s ”big heart and gracious spirit.” Nice!

I am so proud to be a Chicagoan and to be able to say that the Chicago Blackhawks are my hometown hockey team!
I hate to admit that I just became a fan last year. The 24 game streak solidified my love for the Hawks, and this Stanley Cup win basically made me a fan for life. This season is the first that I really got into hockey. I attended my first game this year (they lost at that game) and I can’t wait to attend more. No fans are more passionate than Chicago fans!

The Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks gave me my most thrilling sports memory last night. It was entirely unthinkable that a hockey team could score two goals in the last minute on a goaltender that the rest of the hockey world thought was invincible. What do those east coast hockey writers know?
Did this miraculous comeback happen to a Chicago team? Yes it did! It certainly would have been sweet to hear the organ chime in after each goal but it’s probably sweeter that this miracle comeback happened on Boston ice.
It’s time for the Blackhawks to shave those playoff beards and enjoy their summer with the cup.

I can only give a ‘girly’ girl review, but I’ve loved the Blackhawks since the early 80’s when I went to my first game. Watching Dennis Savard as an 18 yo rookie, the cutie pie, Doug Wilson, and the best goalie, Tony Esposito was always amazing. Definitely more fights during that era.
Now with Toews, Sharp, Hossa, and Kane, this team is on a roll making history at no losses after 19 games!
The United Center is also a great stadium for a game with no seats in the house with a bad view. Food is so-​so but wash it down with a good beer and who cares!
GO HAWKS!

Weather I’m sitting in a sky box or in regular seats, I love watching games here.
