History

Established in 2012.

Captain Norm has been sailing since he was a teen and before he could drive a car. He has enjoyed «unofficially» teaching friends and family how to sail, long before Chicago Yacht Share ever evolved. He also raced on Lake Michigan for 10 years. Chicago Yacht Share was incorporated in January of 2012. The first year exceeded our expectations and we are «on-board» with our plans to add more boats, more locations, and reciprocal fractional use.
