Have been a lucrative customer for 13 years, until new ownership ruined a new set of sheets and then conveniently«lost» the ruined sheet that I took back for proof of damage. The people who work the counter are nice enough, but the ownership are losers. They jerked me around for a month and never called back and I supposedly talked to one of the owners and a manager. You treat customers like crap and you lose them. Simple concept. Now going to Lakeshore and very happy. Adiós to Kenny the Kleener’s.

My favorite place for quick turn-a-round, same day cleaning has made itself slightly harder to use, by changing the«In by Noon, out by 5PM», to «In by 11AM…», thereby making it a little harder to use that service, and my reasonable rate patching has moved up to $ 12 a patch, which seems a little steep; so, the bloom is off the rose a little bit for me with this place. Oh well, lots of other places to go in the neighborhood.

I went to this business for years, but it is no longer the excellent place it used to be. They just ruined one of my shirts. It came back with a little note attached saying that they were«unable to get all the stains out.» Problem is there were NOSTAINS when I took it in. The women who work the counter are indifferent and more interested in talking to each other than the customers. I will find another cleaner.

We used this cleaners for many-many years and were happy with the quality of dry cleaning and the friendly service. But around the time they were bought by Kenny the Kleener(and apparently no longer clean on premises), we suddenly had a number of ruined clothes with them: they destroyed the whole batch of expensive sweaters; then put nasty spots on a sport coat; then broke a plastic ring that holds two pieces of a dress together and tried to cover this up with a pin. The personnel also changed and now they have a she-crook for the manager, who won’t ever acknowledge any fault. So it’s time to say good bye and never step inside that place again!

There are Unilocal reviews for their old location which was right next to Walgreens. See: Under the old location, 6125 N Broadway St, Chicago, IL60660, they were listed in Unilocal as «Chicago’s Discount Cleaners» not«Chicago’s Discount Dry Cleaners» as they are now listed. Mixed reviews for the old location. I just tried the new location and it seemed pretty much the same. Friendly relaxed. Parking is certainly not as convenient.
