Civello Young Talent Salon

Love the color and cut I got from the young talent salon! Venus listened to everything I was looking for with my cut and she took all the time needed to get it just right. I never felt rushed which was great and she helped me work through my ideas to figure out what i was really looking for. I was looking for a new place to get my hair done in Chicago and I found a perfect place! I did go with a groupon and will admit that the prices may be difficult to manage without the savings I got with that but it was so good I may just need to find a way to make it work. Wish me luck… and make sure to ask for Venus for your cut!

Finally a great salon in Chicago! I really enjoy the young talent program at Civello. I go there for blow outs — a great price at $ 20 — can’t beat the price AND they are the best blowouts I have gotten in Chicago.
The front desk employees are very attentive and friendly. When you walk in they immediately ask if they can ask to take your coat and ask if you would like coffee/​tea/​water. I REALLY appreciate this after dealing with other salons that don’t even have a coat hook, don’t ask to take coats, or offer refreshments, let alone have any knowledge of their own salon. So great job Civello front desk staff, keep up the great work.
I prefer the young talent part of the building over the top floor where the senior stylists work. It is quiet downstairs, calm, its like having a private styling experience to yourself. Your service starts off with a scalp/​neck/​shoulder massage with aveda oil and while you are getting your hair washed you get a hand massage and hydrating hand mask.
The girls working here are very friendly, knowledgable, have great brushes, and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Happy to find you guys here! :)

Visiting Chicago with long hair. Went in no appointment. Immediately got me Zoey, senior stylist. Perfect haircut at first try. I’m Asian with not so easy hair to deal with. Usually shop around for a stylist to get the right one. Too bad I don’t live in Chicago to go back.

Venus is great! This is my second time seeing her, and she does an excellent job. She is so warm and friendly, and really listens to the customer. I told her I wanted to cut my hair, and she worked with me to get the appropriate length, and continued to check in with me throughout the cut. In addition, you get a neck massage, head massage and hand massage. I will definitely be back.

Taylor is my new go to gal for cuts. I was a little nervous about going to this salon; I’ve been to other training salons and it can be so hit & miss and sometimes it takes 3 hours to get a simple cut. Here, the stylists have already passed their cosmetology boards and are going through additional training to get up to Civello’s standards. I’ve already received so many compliments on my new do and at only $ 25, it’s such a great deal! I’ll follow Taylor wherever she goes, but I’m going to enjoy my $ 25 haircuts while I can!

Rachel, OMG, she’s amazing. I came in with my long, crazy, thick hair and she tamed it, layered it, and made it soft and sexy! she also did a scalp massage, neck massage, hand massage, and relaxing essential oils treatment, ALL FOR LIKE $ 20!!! I am definitely following this girl, I love her. We’re BFFs.

Absolutly love love love this salon and all the talented stylist! Taylor is fabulous with my cut and Toni is amazing on color. Had an almost six hour color appointment this past Friday with Toni that was worth every minute. Kicked off Spring with a color cleanse and brand new all over color with highlights, couldn’t be happier! Going from a very dark brown to a golden brown redhead and loving it! Thanks Toni for my amazing color!
