Dr. Prasad specializes in treating adults and adolescents (12 years and up) that are facing challenges with mood, self-​esteem, and concentration. Dr. Prasad’s cornerstone of treatment includes a holistic approach to recovery. He engages his patients as unique individuals and is eager to provide the very best care to support their needs in recovery.

Dr. Prasad’s expertise enables him to address the distress that his patients face with ease. He holds a bachelor degree in economics from Michigan State University and has completed his doctoral training in St. Matthews Medical School. Dr. Prasad embarked upon his clinical training at Detroit Medical Center through Wayne State and Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed an additional year of training in psychopharmacology research under the revered John Davis, MD at University of Illinois Hospital where he performed clinical work for treating psychosis and mood disorders in both outpatient and inpatient clinics.

Dr Prasad is very friendly and personable and listened to my concerns. He was easy to work with and was always interested in my progress. I also worked with a therapist there, Nicole, who was equally kind and concerned about my progress. The facilities themselves were calming, modern, and professional. I definitely recommend them.

UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least. Made my appointment online. Received a plethora of emails confirming my appointment. Arrived, filled out the obligatory paperwork, waited fifteen minutes and then the receptionist announced, for all to hear, that dr. lLopez Garcia was out of network even though when I made the appointment it said they accept my insurance. The entire experience was a waste of valuable time. Beware. There are so many others, go elsewhere.

I originally started seeing Nicole because I was afraid to do any backwards motions, which I need to do as a competitive gymnast. After just one session of talking through it I was able to conquer my fear and mental mind block. Nicole made me feel so comfortable that I went to see her a few weeks later more regularly just for continued therapy in my personal life. She is the best, ask for Nicole if you come here.

I have seen both Dr. Rao and Dr. Prasad at this practice, and they are both awful. Dr. Rao, at the very least, listens and seems to care, but shares a lot about his personal life and problems, which is totally inappropriate! Dr. Prasad is, hands-​down, THE WORST PSYCHIATRIST I HAVE EVER SEEN. He totally dismissed everything I had to say, made me feel totally uncomfortable, attempted to diagnose me after 3 minutes and 1 – 2 questions — with something I have never been told I have, by the way, and I’m 29 years old and have seen psychiatrists before. He was combative, rude, and short with me. I asked if he would fill out my STD paperwork and he acted very suspicious about why I couldn’t work (probably because he wasn’t listening when I listed my symptoms in the first place), and then told me he wouldn’t be able to «get to it» for awhile and that it cost $ 15 per page to send in the paperwork. A couple weeks later I called my STD company after he said he filled everything out and discovered that he never sent them anything. I am a mental health professional myself and this place is preposterous. DO NOT GO HERE if you want to feel better.

I have been coming to clarity clinic now for 2 months, I’m beyond happy with the staff here! dr. Prasad is so kind and actually cares about my problems… I’ve been going to therapy for years and I’ve never had a dr before that has really truly cared as much as he does. Even if I have questions about my prescriptions or other things I can directly talk to him on the phone. It’s a nice clean new office on superior. I suggest if you are a new patient to come 10 minutes before for the paper work though.

Dr. Prasad is fantastic across the board. Ensures that every patient knows that he genuinely cares about their well-​being. I waited a few months and a couple appointments to write a review to get over the «honeymoon phase» of a new doctor. Even after waiting I feel he is one of the best doctors in the city. I strongly recommend reaching out to his office if you are looking to make strides to become the best version of yourself.

Dr. Prasad is the best. He is so very knowledgeable but also caring and kind. He tells you everything about what your disorder might be and he is very honest. He explains things in a way that’s easy to understand and he won’t end the appointment until he’s sure you’re up to speed with your diagnosis and his plan of treatment for you.
I also see Nicole for therapy and she has been wonderful. She doesn’t pressure me to feel one way or another, she let’s me feel valid however I feel. She has helped me deal with my anxieties and my harsh self-​criticism. She helps me work towards being a better me in all aspects of my life.
