TWO WORDS… EXTREMELY TERRIBLE…
This location sucks. All the employees Suck. Their customer service skills… SUCKS. Nothing friendly about this employees. If you don’t like where you work… find some place else to relocate!!! I wouldn’t even recommend 1 star. (A Negative Zero Stars if you ask me)…

It’s a dame shame, u can’t talk 2 a representative @ the local office, the phone system keeps sending my call 2 the Philippines, & u can’t talk 2 a manger/supervisor.They have no idea what they r talking about when I ask about a program package question. All the money they ask 4. Sad, can’t wait until they call back, 4 survey.

Finally got a call from Comcast corporate the person I spoke with took
A real interest in the problems I have had and took steps in correcting
The problem.
I was impressed with the quick followup, she gave me hope that staying
With Comcast would be better in them future.

Really horrible experience with them as a new customer. Our appointment was from 5pm-​7pm. After waiting at home the whole day and realized it was 6:45 and still no technician we called customer service and was told that the technician said he did come and tried calling but got a busy signal. Really? A busy signal on a cell phone? Even so he could’ve also rang the doorbell cause we do have a working one, which by the way he didn’t bother doing. When asked if they can do something to accommodate us for a sooner appointment both rep and supervisor said they couldn’t get us anything sooner and we would have to wait until Tuesday which is 5 days away.
To top it off they said there was no way they can reach the technician to confirm that he properly followed all procedures to contact us. How can you not have a way to call one of your techs? This was by far the worst customer service I ever experienced. And I work in customer service. We had to reschedule the appointment for Tuesday and we asked for another 5 – 7, when we called care again 10 min later the appointment we rescheduled for 5 – 7 had been made for 3 – 5! Unbelievable, if we didn’t call they would’ve showed up at the wrong appointment time we didn’t request. If you do use this company, be warned. They clearly don’t care about their customers or the experience. 0 stars!

I went in expecting a really awful time after seeing the reviews, but It honestly was pretty not bad at all. Was nice and cool, had really comfortable chairs, and it was only a 5 min wait. Angel was really nice and had me taken care of really fast and even set me up with some free Sox tickets!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I could not be more disappointed with their despicable customer service. They should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. I haven’t even paid my first bill yet and they have sent me running into the arms of my old provider.

I avoid thus place like the plague, but if u ever have to return or pick up equipment it’s horrible. Line is always super long and never more than 2 or 3 people working despite having 8 windows. This place, just like their customer service is horrible.

Unless you want to take the chance to get yourself stabbed or mugged, I would highly recommend for you to stay away from this area and call them instead.

We recently returned to Comcast after having WOW for a few years. We initially switched to WOW because Comcast was always going out on us and the response from customer service was minimal. Well, WOW’s rates increased and then a Comcast guy came to our door and offered a really good deal for a bundle of services. He convinced us that Comcast has rectified all those glitches that affected the system and the customer service was now a huge priority.
So everyone was very friendly, very professional, etc etc, until we signed up with them and THEN: back to poor service and no responsiveness from the company.
The cable box never worked right, and a guy did come out to try to address this. For some reason the remotes weren’t programmed correctly, so those were replaced. The problems then recurred and got worse. Watching TV became a chore.
Eventually they said we could bring the cable box to them for a replacement – this is after they admitted that the issue was indeed with the cable box. They offered to send a tech to the house – for a $ 30 fee. Why should we spend thirty bucks when they gave us a defective piece of equipment?
My husband went to this facility and waited over an hour for an exchange, and the thing STILL doesn’t work right!
This is only one tiny slice of our experience.
For all of you considering a switch to Comcast: don’t !! Save yourself a big headache.
For those of you who did switch and think that change is possible and Comcast is worth a second look: it isn’t.

I had to exchange my Internet modem, since the one I had was losing wireless signal. So I asked the Comcast representative at the call center to give me the three closest locations to my house. This location was apparently ‘the closest’. Due to the fact that I had to take the roads vs the highway to this location it took me 25 mins to get there. And then only to find out that this location was out of modems! Thank God they had a notice outside, because the line up was out the door at 3pm and I probably would’ve turned around anyways.
I ended up going to a farther location, and although had a bit of a wait time, the people were friendly and most importantly had modems in stock. I would rather for farther and get the job done than making an unnecessary trip.

Comcast is one of the worst companies out there. I just canceled my service because I’m moving and was told that I’d be paying a cancellation fee. When signing up for the service I was very explicitly told this would not be the case if I was moving. Comcast will lie to you to get their way. Awful company full of awful, useless people. The internet service might work fine, but the customer service is horrible and the company should be closed due to their shady practices.
AVOID comcast at all costs!

A sales rep came to our house 2 days ago and wrote a contract for service. The installation rep just left about 30 minutes ago.
Avoid this company at all cost, it not, it will cost you!!!
The sales rep offered Digital HD for $ 49 for 12 months on THEIR CONTRACT. Here’s what we actually got: NO HD, AND A HIDDEN INSTALLATION FEE OF $ 29. The sales rep and the customer service rep we talked to afterwards acted as if they don’t have to honor their own contract. Guess what? If it were the other way around, they would nail me to that contract. I told Comcast my concerns… their answer was to accept a higher rate or return the equipment. So, they screwed up and I have to burn my gas to give them their equipment back. And I’ve got to tell folks… YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR HD. And here’s why. Broadcast stations like CBS, NBC, AND WGN for example, send their signal out in HD, then COMCAST converts the signal to analog and charges the customer to upgrade the signal back to HD. What a rip off. I’m going back to my rabbit ear antenna (free HD) and Netflix for my movies.
BUYER BEWARE OF COMCAST!!!

If there were an Olympic event for worst customer service ever, Comcast would be the gold medalist every time. Their customer service is beyond bad — words fail me. They are bad on every front — technical, billing, customer service, you name it. Unbelievably bad. I can’t even list all the problems I’ve had with them, from service interruptions, screwed up service calls, no-​nothing technicians, billing errors, etc. If you have ANY option other than Comcast, take it — they are the quintessence of a screwed-​up corporation that cares NOTHING about quality or its cusomters.

Comcast is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. When I got my services set up, I accrued almost $ 150 in service credits for missed install appointments, late install appointments and even one service call where the guy lied and said I wasn’t home. Changing their name to xfinity won’t fix the rot that is comcast,

I had to go here to drop off my modem after I cancelled their service. It took me over an hour of waiting in line just to go put this thing in their metal box and get a printout saying they received it. I will never use Comcast again and neither will my friends who live in my building. We’ve all switched over to ATT and are getting 6mb/​s for $ 25. Comcast was giving us 1.2mb/s for $ 49. I also go my parents to cancel their service and switch over to Verizon Fios back home in Mass. They and their friends like the service so much that they are all also cancelling Comcast. Way to go Comcast… bunch of lazy asshats!
Also, the Consumerist voted them the worst company in America for customer service. That should tell you a lot.

If I could rate zero stars I would.
I’ve had Comcast for years, and while they’re pricey, they’re still better than DSL, right? Maybe not!
So I had to get a replacement TV box and go to the service facility on Milwaukee (which has absolutely terrible hours — very inconvenient to get to if you actually WORK) and exchange it. When I finally get around to calling Comcast to get the box to sync up the lady I speak with sends the resync signal to the box, and tells me it’ll be a few minutes before any of the channels come through.
Not only did the TV box never get any signal, but she somehow blew out my internet modem, too. I immediately call back and cannot get ANYONE on the phone to fix the issue. I am shuffled around to four people and am finally told that somehow my modem is blown out and I’ll need to place it as well. Really?
Absolutely terrible customer service — they’re nice enough on the phone if you treat them OK, but they won’t help you fix your issues. And that’s really what customer service is. Servicing the customer.
If there were ANY other alternative to Comcast other than AT&T for internet I’d jump ship in a heartbeat. Maybe that’s why they oppose competitive markets so much.

Promises promises promises. None delivered! Save your money, you“ll regret switching! I do! Horrible service and incompetent technicians will drive you crazy. Stay away!

I don’t have a complaint about this specific location, just about all of Comcast. The service is only so so, and WAY overpriced for what it is, additionally I had problems getting the movies that I ordered to work.
My main problem with Comcast is that they charge more money to people who aren’t in certain service areas such as the «GOLD COAST». From what I can tell Comcast has seemed like a monopoly in most areas of Chicago for a long time. U-​verse I love and welcome you!

Yes 5 stars. I can hardly believe it myself.
A Comcast sales rep was knocking on doors in my neighborhood last fall. He was looking to sign up people like myself that had Direct TV. The sales rep did a good job selling me, but I was nervous. I went for the Comcast Xfinity package which is voice, data, and TV. The numbers made sense, roughly $ 129/​month for all services. In my case I came out ahead roughly $ 75 per month after canceling Direct TV, AT&T voice, and AT&T Internet.
Installation took almost a whole day. There were no mistakes. My Internet is blazing fast, although I am not a power user. My home telephone service is great. Comcast ported my home # with no problems and I love their HD tv.
Direct TV was ok. I don’t watch a ton of TV, but like everyone else if the weather is bad, I am on my couch. The problem with Direct TV is that you can lose some or all of the signal during heavy rains or snow. In addition, Direct TV screwed up its arrangement with Versus last year and hence, I missed a ton of my Blackhawks games.
Comcast has great programming, all the local stations, tons of sports. I am most impressed with their OnDemand. Their On Demand has access to thousands of hours of programming including premium channels (if you subscribe). Hence, if you want to watch a movie or catch up on the Sopranos, no problem.
My slight critiques are, that their DVR’s that are included are nor terrific. It is a little hard to fast forward and then stop when you want to. Also, their music channels are good not great. However these are minor issues.
Bottom line, I have loved Comcast so far. There were zero negative issues with installation, and I am saving $ 75 per month. I am not shilling for Comcast and I am not an employee of Comcast. In my case, switching over to them has been 100% positive.

This is by far the most ghetto Comcast service office on the south side and what’s sad about this location is that you’ll see a gang of people who are late with the cable bill. Many arguing about unusual charges when they need to take that out on the people in their house running up the bill with pay per view fights and adult movies. You’re having to wait in line for 15 – 20 minutes because some idiot is being told that their bill was 2 months overdue and explaining to them the late fees. I went to the Comcast location on North Avenue and was in and out of there in a matter of 5 minutes using their automated machine. Not to mention the unprofessional conduct of the employees when they’ll shut a window down to take their lunch break when they have high traffic and there’s only 2 windows open to handle the backup of customers. The Western location seems to have a problem with their automated system to pay bills since the thing gets stuck and is constantly rebooting itself not to mention it’s always slow as molasses. I am going to stick to the North Avenue location since they get you in and out of there and not waste time since they have a separate window for bill payments away from the actual customer service windows.
