This place is so cool! They have trains that pick you up and take you to other places or sometimes even other trains!!! Freakin’ love trains! Usually smells like piss though so minus 1 star. Overall great place to chill

Old-​school without feeling dilapidated — what’s not to love?
All cars were on one side of the platform, since the other side was closed, so I asked a man working there to make sure this was the case — he was very nice about it.

Thank you, Armitage Brown Line stop, for somehow always smelling like apple cinnamon goodness even when every person walking in smells like wet human (me included!) and it’s that gross rain+mud smell outside. And just in general, this station is one of the prettier ones. The view looking down Armitage (especially to the east) is pleasant… and better than watching the LP high school kids make out!

Had to stop for a washroom break.
Drinking all day and using public transportation will more than likely put you in a bind to have to use the washroom in the most of inconvenient times. Some people in our group couldn’t hold it on our way to Wrigleyville so they had to ditch at this stop. Lucky for them they were able to use the restroom at the nearby Starbucks without any hassle.
I didn’t have to go so I just waited on the platform for them to return. This is a good location for easy access to brown and purple lines if you want to avoid the potential crowds of the red line. The brown line will get you to most of the same stops that you would for the red line.

This station should be running smoothly during the year, but it says online that it will be closed up to 5 more weekends for further construction, although it doesn’t say which weekends. Thank goodness it is open during the week.
