Dave Frederickson – State Farm Insurance Agent

I currently have life insurance and jewelry insurance with Dave. I think he is fantastic. I have never received «spam mail» from him, I’m not sure what that other reviewer is talking about. The other individuals in his office are friendly and easy to do business with. I’ve had some issues with my life insurance, where my husband was originally denied. After Dave did some digging for me, it turns out that the problem was with the 3^rd party medical assistant who came by our home to draw blood. After my husband went to his PCP and had labs redrawn, and everything was OK, Dave promptly filed a grievance with the denial on our behalf. Within 2 weeks, my husband was approved. Dave is a family man and truly cares for his clients. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an agent. He is flexible, kind, and very professional. He will fight for you to make sure that you are well taken care of!

I would give Dave and his coworkers six stars if possible. So personable and professional. I carry multiple policies with him and recently added two more. He was extremely thorough with me as we discussed my current plans and prospective new ones. He walked me through the process and made me feel as if he had all the time in the world to discuss any questions or concerns I might have. He is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. What a great agent and what a great group.

I would give less than this if I could. I have been with this agent for 3 years to learn that I had been dropped because I had one bumper minor accident and took my car in for repairs during our awful hail storm. Apparently, I’m not good on paper. This notice came in the mail and I never received it. I found out I was dropped after the fact when my payment was taken. When I called the office I received zero empathy or concern. No one had called me or sent me email (as I do everything paperless with them). So now because my insurance has lapsed, I’m finding it beyond difficult to get affordable quotes. When speaking with agent his only suggestion or words of advice were-don’t go to Geico. Awful, terrible and have left me in a difficult position. I have never paid late or missed a payment. I would expect more. I never would have been driving a whole month without insurance!!! I’m repulsed with the customer service.

Dave has been my State Farm agent for over 10 years. I’ve has renters, homeowners, auto and life insurance policies with him. I met him through mutual clients (I was in real estate) and have referred almost everyone I worked with to him. He has handled my personal and professional insurance needs with care, responsiveness, and excellent customer service. In the process he’s become a trusted friend. Many of his staff have been with him since before I met him, so when I call they know me and my business. I was in sales for many years and I’m not the easiest customer to impress, but this agency is top notch. State Farm is the gold standard of insurance agencies and to find an agent like Dave makes it that much better.

So uninformed. Will send spam to children and pets. Where does this idiot get his information? Does he just love killing trees for nothing? Jerk.

I am somewhat sad to write this review because in many ways I had nothing but the most positive experiences with Dave and his office. In the six years of my policy with him, my building experienced an apartment fire which caused significant damage in my unit, and someone broke into my boyfriend’s car and stole my laptop in the process. They handled these claims quickly, expertly, and professionally. You can imagine my surprise and disappointment when I was told this year they would not renew me because of these two «incidents.» This raised the question for me why we have insurance at all, given these were no-​fault accidents for which we get insurance to protect ourselves. Dave also contacted me via email instead of through phone: while I appreciated the heads up, the message he sent me was confusing, required a lot of back-​and-​forth, and was not handled very personally. We are very happy with our newest insurance provider, whom several friends have been covered under for many years, always with renewals even when they cash in on their policy. I would not recommend StateFarm based on this experience.

I had a bad experience with this agency. I reported my accident on same day of occurence and gave a number in Texas when in fact there is a local number. The other person involved had also State Farma and did not even paid my rental car in full. I have to find it myself when Enterprise billed my card. They lack follow up and knowledge of their own process. This place is a joke.

I’ve had a renter’s insurance policy through this agency for a number of years and had been satisfied, but not terribly impressed. Recently, I worked with one of their agents, Dawn, to buy a homeowner’s insurance policy. I was blown away! She was incredibly helpful and dedicated. She secured my business for a long time to come.

Dave was my State Farm agent for roughly two years. When I switched insurance companies he called to ask if it was a service issue or a pricing issue, then gave me some relevant information about a pricing adjustment that was going to happen five months down the road with my policy. That was it. He then let me know that he was canceling my policy as per my request and within a week I received a check. I would recommend Dave to anyone seeking professionalism from their insurance agents.
Note: If you cancel your policy just a few days prior to a payment being drafted from your account, that amount will still be drafted by State Farm then returned to you by check. Just a heads up.

Dave has always been a great asset in my insurance life’s needs. He makes everyone feel like family and even wanted to check out my new car when I purchased it a while back. I even convinced my boyfriend to insure through Dave and he’s said nothing but good things about him.

I had a policy with state farm i did online and was assigned this office. I had policy for about a month when state farm decided I had too many prior tickets although the last ticket was in 2007. They decided to cancel my policy, this is where my problems began.
These guys took it upon themselves to call my roommates and divulge my personal information to them. My roommates both have state farm insurance for their cars and we all have renters insurance. State farm tried the veil attempt to say to see if i was married which too me is BS.
We all know that you get a cheaper rate if you are married so if i was married won’t i put down married and get the cheaper rate? This is very irresponsible and criminal in nature for state farm to do this sort of thing.
I will never trust them again! If you need to ask questions about this then ask me not someone else. Then when I call the office do not give me the run around when i ask for a GM name and number. You going to give me the 800 number seriously what a crock! Now i awaiting for the GM to call me back to resolve this issue stay tuned!

I’ve had them for years, and they are so nice and take care of everything. Whenever I have a problem and need roadside assistance, they literally put the reimbursement check in the mail the next day. Now my car was totaled out from a hit-​and-​run and they are taking care of everything with no hassle, and even called to tell me benefits I am eligible for that I didn’t know about. I love them — they are always great.
