I hired David to be my personal trainer for my wedding last October. I’m still working out with him — I just can’t seem to ‘quit’ him.(: I’ve never been interested in working out with a trainer b/c I didn’t want some juicehead screaming at me and bulking me up. I’ve always enjoyed working out but I have always stuck to cardio b/c I don’t know how to lift right and an organized spin class seems much easier. But I bought a strapless wedding dress and needed some toning to say the least. Not only was I very impressed with the results I received — lost inches, feeling good in my wedding dress, improved strength– I really enjoy David and I’s workouts so I’ve continued. He has such a positive outlook and his motivation techniques worked really well for me — more of a coaching style — I feel as if I want to try hard/do well to impress my ‘coach’ rather than b/c I fear my trainer.

I’ve trained with David for six months. In that time, I’ve lost 5% body fat, lost 2″ on my thighs, and gained in chest and arms. David does an outstanding job helping his clients strategize over their fitness goals — and achieve them, with measurable results. In addition, David reworked my diet and food plan, breaking me away from a series of unhelpful eating habits. He is consistently well prepared for every workout. I have recommended him two times, and both friends have said they have never worked with such an excellent trainer before.

David is such an inspiring and educated personal trainer and wellness coach here in Chicago. Not only does he know his stuff down to science, he also takes the time to learn about YOU. Beginning in March 2009, I wanted to get back to a healthy lifestyle in order to lose weight and reduce stress. The skills I learned from our first training session are used to this day every time I workout. The tips David provided were personally-tailored to me in order to maximize the benefits of each exercise I did. He really teaches you about exercising, eating and thinking smart and positively. David is not your cookie-cutter personal trainer, he has a very specific and unique approach to each individual person and all I can say is — ITWORKS!

David is one of the most dedicated trainers in Chicago. As someone who has tried working out alone, in exercise classes, and even the occasional DVD, nothing produces results like working out with David. David not only makes exercise fun, but you definately work harder than you would on your own. I’ve had several personal trainers and I haven’t seen results as quickly as I have working with David.
