Dee Hartmann Physical Therapy is an outpatient clinic that specializes in treating men and women with chronic pelvic pain (i.e. vulvar pain, coccygeal or tailbone pain, abdominal pain, perineal pain) and dysfunction (i.e. chronic constipation, urinary or fecal incontinence, chronic diarrhea, sexual dysfunction). With appointments typically on a weekly basis rather than the old «3x/​week for 4 weeks», your time is spent in one-​on-​one, hour-​long sessions with Dee. The goal of her practice is to get to the root cause of the problem rather than to treat the symptoms and to give you the tools that you need to take care of yourself. Initial evaluations are scheduled without a physician’s referral however further treatment requires (under Illinois law) a qualified physician’s prescription.
