Michelle (make up) and Abbey (hair) were able to come by my condo prior to getting our family portraits done. I have a 2 year old and a newborn being photographed and I knew with the newborn I would 1) look exhausted and 2) be too tired to do anything hair– or make-​up-​wise myself.
Super glad I called — even the photographer commented on how great the make up looked!

We connected beforehand and aligned on some hair and make-​up styles that I liked. Both, the Diem Angie team and Jacqueline were incredibly responsive over email and phone leading up to the day.
The day off she arrived promptly at 6:45am and we got started right away. Jacqueline was super flexible and we experimented with different positions for the hair piece and lashes. The end result was absolutely amazing! The hair looked really amazing and the make-​up was natural and elegant, exactly what I wanted.

I hired Diem for hair and makeup services for my March 2016 Indian wedding. She exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t not have trusted anyone better to make me look beautiful on my big day. Diem and her team showed up on time early in the morning and had great enthusiasm! They were all fun to work with and made the morning of much more enjoyable. They truly shared your happiness with you. It’s easy to see that Diem really enjoys what she does!
Diem works with you to ensure you find a look that is you and doesn’t leave without being sure her bride is happy! She responds to emails promptly and is more than happy to comply with any requests you have! I did a trial with her (highly suggested) and realized that the look I was initially aiming for was not something I wanted the day of the wedding. I sent Diem my thoughts and suggestions and she happily obliged to all of it. She did 2 different looks for me and each look was completely different from the other. I’d recommend Diem and her team to anyone looking for a hair/​makeup artist to make them feel comfortable and beautiful on their wedding day!

I felt like the most beautiful bride thanks to Diem Angie’s team! Pati did my bridal hair and make up and the hair for the bridal party. Each of my bridesmaids LOVED their hair and they looked beautiful! Tiffany did the make up for the moms and they received so many compliments!
Diem was very attentive and always responded to all of my emails and made sure everything was perfectly coordinated! Pati listened to me and incorporated all the ideas from various pictures to make sure my trial went perfectly.
My Grandmother died unexpectedly the day before the wedding and I was very upset and overwhelmed and Pati was so calming and made sure that I was ok. I can honestly say that Pati got me through that morning and I am so thankful she was there.

I made the right decision to have Diem and her team take care of us for our wedding last October 24, 2015. Nicole and Jacqueline were one of the most professional and most talented artists I’ve worked with. On my trial session, they came early and were very friendly. Jacqueline gave helpful tips to make my hair look fuller and with more volume as I have very fine hair. Nicole was very enthusiastic to share her expertise. I had the airbrush makeup because of the risk of getting oily since I have combination skin type. I got a lot of very good compliments (and Facebook likes) when I posted the picture.
On my wedding day, both Jacqueline and Nicole were at the hotel room before 7am. My bridal party (5 bridesmaids) ran late and they were very flexible to accommodate their last minute requests for hairstyles and lashes which took more time. This was a huge help in making things less stressful. I wanted a more dramatic eye make up for my wedding and Nicole delivered just that. My hair looked glamorous too!
A helpful tip though is to make sure you have the schedule/​timeline for the wedding day ahead of time and to make clarification with how many bridesmaids every hour because I misunderstood the schedule. But like I said, both Nicole and Jacqueline pulled it off!
I would definitely recommend them if you want to look gorgeous on your special day and if you want hassle-​free service!

Needed someone to do my makeup for my engagement shoot and scheduled with Diem’s group about 1 week beforehand. Diem was very accommodating and had Julia come by to my apartment. There is a base rate that you pay for the services plus any parking fees that the stylist incurs while they are at your location. I was very happy with the make up and would recommend her team to anyone!

Diem and her team were just spectacular. We had a huge bridal party including 8 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, my mom and then of course me. They were efficient and arrived early. My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how glamorous they felt. I tend to be a little picky about my hair and make-​up, and Diem was so easy to work with. She made me feel so comfortable, and I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. I have already recommended her and her team to my friends getting married in Chicago.

Highly professional and super accommodating. My wedding was September 12 and my makeup was flawless as can be. I had a trial with her in May and loved my makeup then. There were some changes I wanted for the day of the wedding and she happily obliged to it. Also, after the trial, she gave me tips of what I should do the next couple of months so that my skin would be smooth for the wedding day.
Diem came to my house EARLY Saturday morning to do mine and some of my bridesmaids’ makeup, while another MUA on her team went to another location to do makeup for my mother-​in-​law, her sisters, and my sister-​in-​law. At my house, the first girl started at 5:30am while at the other location, the first appointment was at 5am. She came 15 minutes early to set up and was ready to go right at 5:30am. Some of the girls had traditional makeup, while others had her do airbrushing.
For my makeup, I wanted to go with a more natural look — I wanted to look like myself. My husband also requested that I don’t go crazy on the makeup because he wanted to recognize me as I walked down the aisle. That being stated, we decided to do airbrush so that I would look flawless and at the same time, minimize the creasing and oil shine, since I have combination skin. She was super fast and engaging to work with. I was amazed at how quickly she got the makeup done and was so happy that she listened to what I wanted and made me look like myself, only more refined.
Our makeup lasted the whole day. The only time I touched up my makeup was for my lips and after the MOH and best men speeches since I was balling my eyes out.
She is pricey, but I believe that you get what you pay for. I found Diem to be transparent with her responses. I also noticed that there were periods where she took longer to respond, but she eventually does and all is well in the world again. What I also liked was the fact that you can do a trial with her before you ultimately decide, which is nice because I found some MUA that require you to sign a contract first before you do a trial. All in all, I would highly recommend her for any special occasion.

Diem did an awesome job on my eyelash extensions! I never had them before so I had to eat used to them the first 2 days. It also looks great in photos. I received lots of compliments. It stayed put for a little over 4 weeks on me! I even tried to take some off towards the 6^th week when it started to very slowly fall off but it still wouldnt budge, haha. I’m going to her again for my wedding :) I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

I traveled to Chicago for my birthday and decided last minute (the day before) that I wanted to get my makeup and hair done. I contacted Diem and she was able to find an available makeup artist/​hair stylist. The next day Pati came to my hotel room and totally gave me the look I wanted. She was a complete sweetheart and she did a great job on my hair and makeup. I highly recommend her and Diem’s services for making my birthday extra special.

Diem and her team of artists are definitely a pleasure to work with. Diem was prompt to respond and flexible in accomodating my dates. She and her team (Alexandra for my make-​up & Pati for my hair) really went the extra mile to ensure that I was comfortable with the way I look and that it was exactly what I had envisioned it to be.
It started with the trial. As I wanted to have the trial exactly on the same day as my pre-​wedding photoshoot, I had to keep changing my trial dates due to the bad weather. Diem, Alex & Pati were flexible to accomodate my requests. They also proactively asked for my feedback as to whether I was comfortable with the colours used, the way my eyebrows were drawn etc. and gave me suggestions on how they can tweak the look until I was satisfied with it. I definitely felt I was in good hands!
On the day of the wedding, Pati & Alex arrived punctually and worked their magic on my 5 bridesmaids, mother, MIL & me. Everyone looked gorgeous! They were even sweet enough to accomodate our last minute requests for my mother and MIL to have their hair styled even though this had not been scheduled as per our initial arrangement. Our day would not have been as perfect without them.
I would highly recommend Diem & her team of artists for your wedding or special occasion. You will not regret it!

I went to Diem for the first time on New Year’s Eve of this year. She did my hair and make-​up, which turned out ah-​mazing! I am typically very picky when it comes to others doing my make-​up because I feel I end up looking strange or unnatural (not that I was going for a natural look here — definitely asked for a smoky eye, lashes, all that), but Diem was the best. She listened to me, including my gripes about how I’ve typically hated my professional make-​up in the past, and executed flawlessly. Not to mention she was so fun to talk to. I absolutely loved my hair and make-​up by Diem and can’t wait to go back to her again this year for another wedding!

Diem and her team were phenomenal to work with! The big wedding day stresser for me was the schedule. Of course, nothing could start until our hair and makeup were completed and so before my wedding day I expressed to Diem how worried I was about being late. I had 9 (NINE!) bridesmaids who had to get their hair and make up completed within a pretty tight timeline and Diem and her team knocked it out of the park. They not only made everyone gorgeous but they were ahead of schedule! We actually got to our ceremony venue early!
I really loved my makeup and it stayed on throughout all laughing and tears of joy. Thank you so much Diem for making my day soooo special!!!

Can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with Diem. From the moment I contacted her… Diem was prompt to respond, extremely professional, and just so lovely. She and her team of two others (Bethany and Jeanne) made my five bridesmaids, two flower girls, MOB, MOG, my sister-​in-​law and myself look flawless… ahead of schedule to boot! Diem was such a calming presence in what could have been a stressful day. She made it her priority to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and having fun. So pleased with the whole experience. I had a great experience working with Diem and her artists for my wedding! Diem was easy to keep in contact with while setting up my trial appointment and the day of services! She also made sure that everything went well with follow up phone calls and emails. The prices are fair for the great work that was done for me and all my bridesmaids!
Patti was my hairstyles and she did my hair exactly how envisioned it to be! She was also very gentile with pinning my hair because I’ve had bad experiences where my head would be hurting all night but this wasn’t the case and it stayed in all night! Julie was my makeup artist and she did such a wonderful job! I’m not one to wear a lot of makeup and she was able to give me that little bit of glam without it being too much!
Overall, services were exceptional and would highly recommend Diem and her team to anyone! I greatly appreciate all the work that was put into making me beautiful for my wedding day!

I booked Diem Angie for my senior prom almost 5 months in advance and I will never regret choosing her as my hair and makeup artist! I was getting endless compliments through out the entire night!
She was at my house on time and got right to work — just what I wanted since I was short on time to go take pictures.
The work she does is done with such perfection and precision!
2 years later and I still loved how I looked

First, Diem did my hair and makeup for a friend’s wedding, and I looked SO GOOD! So, when it was my turn to get married, I knew exactly who to go to. We we went to Mexico for the wedding and I was worried about my hair and makeup staying put in the humid climates, so I was really happy to find out that Diem travels for destination weddings.
We did a trial ahead of time (which I highly recommend, because I was totally convinced I needed a smoky eye for my wedding day until Diem showed me the light) and on the day of, damn I looked amazing. And I’m not even bragging… I give full credit to Diem! Since it was a destination, she didn’t have her full team with her. and she was like a ninja the day of, whipping out the perfect, romantic, beachy updos for my girls, and then she worked her magic on me.
My hair was poufed and curled more perfectly than it ever has been, my eye makeup was somehow totally glam but still natural, and my skin looked just as flawless in person as it did in all of the pictures. And despite some serious heat, intense wind, and 4+ hours of dance moves… I looked pretty much the exact same at midnight as I did when she spun me around to check myself out in her makeup chair.
I can’t recommend her enough — she’s funny, sweet, makes everyone feel comfortable, and is ultimately a total pro.
