Absolutely awesome! Rob helped me out, and was SUPER legit. He ran upstairs a bunch of times to get me the right fit n cut. Even when I asked for a size too big, he was like «are you sure?» Which totally made me feel skinny, and he was right. Just an honest, sincere, good dude. The place is relaxed and easy-​going.

Fantastic experience shopping in the diesel shop Chicago rush street on a long weekend break from Ireland. Thanks to shop assistant Alex for making it a memorable worthwhile experience … Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went out of his way to ensure we got the right fit and style of jeans! I had previously purchased a belt from Diesel and unfortunately part of the buckle cracked due to my own error. I walked into this store hoping to pay to have the belt repaired as its not in stock anymore. I was pleasantly surprised when Aneta one of the managers told me she would get it repaired at no cost.
One week later I got my belt back in working order and at no cost to me. I want to commend Aneta for her service and am loving my repaired belt.

This store has phenomenal customer service and an awesome product, to boot. I have purchased several pairs of jeans from this Diesel, have had to make a few exchanges, etc and have always been taken care of with friendly service. Will continue to buy from this location as long as Diesel continues to make quality goods!

You may not remember me, but I was in Diesel late October to complain about jeans that ripped when I wore 3 time. You were understanding, compromising, and professional, even though the pair was out of season you still offered me credit to exchange for a new pair. I was in a second time, I tried on several pair and the ones you suggested were best! I love them every time I put them on! Thank you!

I dunno. I just don’t get it. I think the clothing here is a bit elitist and overpriced. Not my scene. My friend was visiting from out of town and just «had to have» some Diesel jeans. I went in with him with an open mind, hoping maybe I would be sold. It’s just too expensive. Come on, they are just jeans. Obviously I’m not a showy brand name person. They had a cool pair of «jean» shoes… um, for $ 245 dollars. Really? Again, nice store, very pretty… very boutique-​y. I just think the prices are ridiculous. I can see perhaps if you were paying for the «experience» but the sales staff seemed pretty aloof too. I’ll stick to my discount stores where the service might be «hands off» but the prices are right for my wallet.

I am a firm believer in the fact that there are two types of people out there:
the ones who understand the importance of a well made, well fitting pair of jeans, and the ones who don’t.
No matter how eclectic or great your wardrobe may be, without a few solid pairs of great jeans, it just doesn’t work. A great pair of jeans and a tattered 4 dollar t shirt can still look great, but a 200 dollar t shirt on a pair of wranglers will not look good. * just my personal philosophy.
In any case, diesels used to be my all time favorite jean — especially the Zathan cut… but then the whole boot cut thing kinda got old and diesel hadn’t kept up with the new straight legged thin jean thing. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in this past summer and discover the diesel thanaz line of jeans — slim leg, great washes, not super emo tight but definitely a trendier fit than a lot of their other jeans. I got the 8lp wash and theyre a great pair of jeans for wearing out or just around the neighborhood’ — i’d definitely reccommend them to the guys out there.
diesel makes some high quality stuff — if you’re going to spend 150+ dollars on a pair of jeans, i’d try here first.
and please, for my sake, do not not not buy true religion.

Diesel has the best jeans ever. Disappointingly (sp?), I only own one pair and rarely do I ever wear them because I got fat. :(
The layout of the store is very underground esque, if that even makes sense. I was looking to buy a new pair of jeans when a sales associate asked me if I needed any assistance. I asked him about this one pair. He led me over to the SALE section and told me that this other pair was a very similar fit and style to the ones I liked that were full price. How awesome is that. They really are about customer service while other places in the area, which I won’t name…, just want to upsell the customer.
I’ve bought a few items from the Diesel outlet store in Aurora (I know, how uncool of me.) and now that I went into the actual diesel store, I’m pretty sure I’ve made my decision of never going back to that outlet ever again. I’ve been to other diesel stores but none of them can compare to this one.
I understand that the denim here is expensive, but the quality of it is amazing and will last years. I guaruntee that this place will find you the perfect fit and style that you are looking for.

You haven’t worn jeans until you’ve tried a Diesel on. These jeans, made from the finest premium denim fit many different body types, comfortably! I have 15+ pairs of Diesel Denim. The quality is the best money can buy. My first pair of Diesel denim purchased in 1998 still fits and looks amazing. The style has slightly changed and dirty denim wash is no longer as relevant, nevertheless I still love’em!
The service at the store is generally good as the help here really has a passion for fashion and denim. They will help you get sizes and make recommendations. This must be company procedure as I have shopped at Diesel all over the world and they all offer the same level of outstanding customer service with an aptitude to make sure you leave satisfied.
Be prepared to pay. Denim runs from 180 to 400. Most of the Denim is around 240.

I adore Diesel. I would normally get Diesel items from Nordstrom. I went in was quietly greeted by a dude. I browsed around at my own leisure. Then nicely greeted by the other gentlemen working there. I had been here quite a few years ago. I remember liking what I had seen. I dig their underwear, shoes and some of their shirts. I was this close to purchasing a pair of $ 90 high top sneakers but alas controlled myself. I was totally feeling the atmosphere and the music. I’ll be back for sure. Those sneakers are calling me.

Die Auswahl an Jeans (Rest wohl auch) ist topp und die Verkäufer sind alle freundlich und gut drauf. Man kann ungezwungen und in Ruhe gucken, findet aber bei Bedarf auch sofort Hilfe. Der Verkäufer hat mir sogar die Adresse des Diesel Outlet-​Stores in Aurora, IL herausgesucht, weil ich ein älteres Model nicht mehr gefunden habe.

The Diesel store in Chicago convinced at first blush, as all other shops worldwide. However, there are no 5 stars for it yet.
The choice of jeans is great and all the sales clerk are kind and be on the ball. You can look for clothes at leisure, however, you find help immediately if required. The sales clerk even gave me the address for the Diesel outlet store in Aurora, Il, because I have not found an older model any more.

Diesel is one of my absolute favorite brands, and this particular store offers a decent selection in a fab neighborhood. Their denim is absolute top notch (head and shoulders above True Religion, Seven, Rock&Republic, et al). I also love their fit. If you’re a slim guy, and need a new pair of jeans or a few shirts, you won’t be swimming in duds from Diesel!
The prices may shock you, be prepared to spend upwards of $ 275 on a pair of jeans and $ 150 on a shirt, but if you’re a fashionista with good taste, Diesel on Rush is a must.

I loved my old Diesel jeans. I don’t buy too much here but love comin’ in the store and checkin’ out their basics and their twist on things. The staff is never helpful. Well once in a while. Still love this store.

what can i say about this store, except that i absolutely LOVE diesel jeans. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
the store is very boutiquey… the staff is always friendly and willing to help with questions. and i find the prices comparible to other dept stores that also carry Diesels.
another good thing is that the store carries some styles/​washes that can’t be found anywhere.
needless to say… i own over 20 pairs of diesel jeans. *le sigh*

I used to really like Diesel jeans but the prices are pretty high. The service is so-​so and I don’t really see any sales so I don’t come here often.
I think that Diesel’s designs have gotten weirder over the years and I would never wear majority of their clothes. Maybe too euro trashy? I don’t know what it is.

Price is pretty high up there, as has been mentioned. They do have great sales, however, which is the best time to shop there. Sadly, for some reason, the shoes they have at the store are in my opinion the worst out of the diesel lot — I always find ones I like more at other stores.
Quick story for how great their customer service is. My friend bought a Diesel coat at Untitled (a boutique on Clark ST for the unknowing, also one on North Ave), and within the season she bought it in, the zipper broke. She didn’t do much about it until the beginning of this now somewhat passed winter, and she went in to the Diesel store just to see if they knew where she could get it fixed. They actually paid for it to be fixed, regardless of the fact that she didn’t even buy it at the store — they just wanted to ensure she had a good experience with the brand. Now THAT is customer service!

Last winter season I searched everywhere downtown for a trendy puffy jacket, and I thought I lost hope until I found one here. They have the coolest jackets and jeans, you’ll fall in love with this place is you’re one who likes to pay attention to details and textures. Prices are a bit high but you can find some bargains hidden throughout the store.

this store isn’t as big as the one in san francisco, but the people working here are much much nicer. the salesperson that helped me was properly attentive without being annoying or stand-​offish. he had good suggestions when i didn’t like what i was trying on and i ended up buying what turned out to be my favorite pair of jeans.
yeah it’s a little pricey, but for me the jeans were totally worth it.

Sales associates were very helpful and noted that they can order if they didn’t have in stock. They have lot of selections of jeans in variety of colors. Trendy clothes but I rather browse and buy similar style clothing elsewhere. Everything in here was $ 150 and up.
