History

Established in 1891.

Dodd Camera was founded in 1891 at a location which is now East 4^th Street in downtown Cleveland.

Still family owned after all these years we operate nine stores in the Greater Cleveland area and three stores in Dayton. In 2008 we expanded into Chicago with a Dodd Camera store dedicated to renting high quality gear to professional photographers.

Our corporate offices are located in downtown Cleveland at the corner of E. 30^th and Carnegie Ave. This is also the site of our 8500 sq. foot camera superstore. A visit downtown will surely make you say Wow!

Relocated to Chicago from Dodd Camera’s headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio early 2014. Formerly the Rental Manager at Dodd Camera Cleveland, Nathan takes pride in leading a team of knowledgeable, friendly staff members that also take pride in helping customers get equipped with the gear & knowhow to get the job done right the first time.
