Description

Specialties

My services feature: daytime walks Monday — Friday, occasional weekend and night walks, positive/behavior reinforcement, street crossing training, and, plenty of references! I also have a flexible schedule which allows me to cater to last minute walks during the evenings. Details include: daily visits are approximately 20 minutes long (rain, snow, sleet or shine) and take place from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Walks include a good dose of exercise, lots of attention, and feeding (if needed). Currently, weekly visits are only $ 11 in the summer and $ 13 in the winter. Sitting is $ 35 per night, and includes 3 — 5 walks along with plenty of attention, dog park visits, feeding, and a comfortable atmosphere to stay. Sitting is offered to clients all over the North Shore; weekly walks are currently offered in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago. I also offer cat sitting and exotic animal care, prices are comparable to weekly walks.

History

Established in 2008.

Dog Walking by Dan began as a small venture intended to provide an exclusive service to residents near the Fullerton and Clark area of Lincoln Park. Now, client locations have nearly exceeded the boundaries of the Lincoln Park area, and, our plan is to stay devoted to serving the community, as well as striving to reach other areas in the future.

Our client list will remain on the smaller side to ensure each dog, cat, and critter gets extensive attention and the best care offered overall. We are always accepting inquiries and hope to add more expertise on the front lines to assist more pups in need.

Business Owner

I’ve come from a long line of pet lovers, owners, and caretakers which has given me an extensive knowledge about animals, and, an bigger soft spot when it comes to caring for animals. I began with fish, then a puppy, before you know it, I was volunteering at animal shelters and working for award-winning dog groomers and trainers. I learned most of my know how from my mother, who acted as a savior to animals whom were left stray, cold, and hungry. She always took care of animals because she loved them; I believe, she passed many of those feelings down to me. I look after at every cat, critter, and dog as they were my own, and, I intend to continue looking after them with the most care and affection as possible.
