«Dollar Land» appears to be the cousin of «Dollar Tree,» except they aren’t related. I found this place via Unilocal because some have mentioned that an assortment of Chicago souvenirs could be found in here. I have verified the statement to be accurate. Toward the end of the store, you will find lots, lots of key chains, enough for every freakin’ hotel room in the world. There are also mugs, picture frames, postcards, cold-weather accessories, t-shirts, and some random Chi-town memorabilia. If you own a real estate agency and are in need of a large classic downtown Chicago panoramic photo, they have it for sale for about $ 14. Unless you can spot one(1) of those in a thrift store, the price is considered decent in my opinion. If you’re in charge of a Big Fat Greek wedding, you can a plenty of hair pieces, bands, and ties. They may not be made of genuine Swarovski crystals, but they are just as sparkling, perhaps under a different refractive index in which you cannot really detect visually. Wanna funky shoelaces for your boring Timberland? Grab some of these here in Dollar Land. Other noticeable electronic essentials are converters and transformers for your decade-old electronic devices. Hubby saw a transformer for converting 300 ohm to 75 ohm. Yeah, that was what he said since I’m pretty clueless with knowing exactly what it does. I just jotted it down verbatim. I had some spare cash so I didn’t see the need to look for my credit card. It’s always useful to carry some cash with you since most small businesses in Chi-town prefer green dollars. You can’t never go wrong making friends with George, Abe, Alex, and Andrew.

Excellent souvenir buys for minimal price. I would recommend to anyone who wants to buy for others but does not want to spend the ridiculous $ 6.99 for a key chain. They have thousands of keychains, coffee mugs, t shirts, magnets etc…

Awesome store ! So many accessories for $ 1 and some kept behind the counter for only $ 3-$ 5. Their accessories are endless in this store. You could probably stay in this store for a good hour or so. Parking sucks, so come prepared.
