Went to Chicago for a mini vacation and for whatever reason my cousin was really craving Dunkin’ Donuts… so we decided to go on a little adventure. It was low 50’s so being from LA that was pretty cold for us so we were all layered up(beanies, coats, sweaters, scarves, rain boots(because it was supposed to rain that day), you know, the works). As soon as you walk into this facility the heater was blasting, it literally felt like an oven. So there we go, un-layering because we were sweating profusely. Anyhow, I wasn’t really craving a donut so I went with a bagel(sesame seed bagel), and cream cheese. Nothing to complain about there. I also had their caramel macchiato, BOMB. The only negative would be the customer service, the guy at the counter was a bit aggressive and a little on the rude side.

Best Dunkin in town! While there are many other larger Dunkin’s within walking distance of the Lake Street location, the customer service here is definitely superior. Tenisha always remembers regular customers orders(I only come in once or twice a week and she remembers mine) and the team is quick and polite. Only bummer was when their latte machine was broken, but that was the fault of the owner/corporate for not replacing it.

They were giving away free coffee!!! It was national coffee day Monday Sept 29th. However they were only serving their dark roast. When you order your coffee, they add the sugar and cream for you if you like. I don’t get sugar just cream. But they add more cream if you don’t order sugar. Too much creamer for me. Their roast isn’t bad(not as strong as I expected for a dark roast) and it’s real CHEAP! 99 cents! But I’ve definitely had much better brewed coffee, but of course you have to pay more. This definitely beats Starbucks in my books though. I haven’t had a chance to try their donuts(I’m not a fan of donuts). But I hear they’re good!

This my go to Dunkin in the morning. The people who work here are very nice and remember your order if you’re a regular. They’re also pretty fast, which is definitely a plus when you’re on the way to work. The only downside is that this location is TINY and if more than 3 people are inside it’s crowded. Otherwise, it’s your standard, quality DD.

I don’t know what it is about me but Indian women love to give me extra donuts. I mean, I am not the kind of gal who needs extra donuts, if you catch my drift, and yet, whenever I go into a Dunkin Donuts — be it this location or the Glenview location on Waukegan Road south of Lake Ave — the Indian women either throw an extra dodo in the bag or they offer me a discount on their donuts. Perhaps I look like some Hindu goddess that they worship — one with a particularly round endy — but there you have it. Thanks for being nice to your customers, your good coffee and your friendly smiles. NOTETODUNKINDONUTSHEADQUARTERS — please bring back the white powdered chocolate crème filled donut! Very few locations are offering this donut anymore. PLEASE bring it back! Thanks.

I moved here from Los Angeles – I know about inconvenient locations and the need to drive 20 minutes for your fast food. I was at first elated to see a Dunkin Donuts so close to where I live. Short-lived! How do people live here? There is nothing open at the extremes of the day here and crappy little fast food joints here are no exceptions. How is it that Dunkin Donuts,(whose very existence depends on their convenience and simple model of: walk to counter order #2, pay in quarters) is not open at 9 am or 5pm, NEVER has fresh donuts, and has bad service? And the coffee! I marvel at anyone I see carrying one of these Dunkin Donuts cups – how are you choking that crap down? This place sux.
