Very happy with the work done! Matlena was easy to communicate with and was able to accommodate me with an apartment clean up for a move on very short notice, even working on a Saturday. Definitely recommend.

Like another Unilocal reviewer, we were promised a deep clean and also felt pressured to get it. Let me just say I had a housekeeper who charged half of what she charged and the job was done beautifully. When I came home I found every single surface uncleaned. In addition, certain items were moved from their original place and relocated to a place of their choosing and hidden. I did not appreciate also that our tray we use for dirty shoes and boots was placed on the kitchen counter. Seriously? When I complained I was impressed that the lady returned to clean the surfaces that were missed, but once she left I examined them and found stains and streaks. Why even bother? Do not hire this service. it’s overpriced and they did a terrible job.

Surprised to see so many 5 star reviews, given my experience. Marlena came to do an initial assessment, I felt very pressured to do the «deep clean». I had given my previous history with housekeepers, what I was looking for, and the general price point I had paid. She suggested a price 3x that and promised that «every couch would be moved, top to bottom cleaning». Ultimately, I agreed, in due part to her making me feel somewhat badly about the cleanliness of my home.
She and 2 others showed up and let me know that they would be in and out, as they had another site to clean as well. No big deal.
She texted me when they were done and made no mention of any spaces that may have not been given attention. When I came home, I was extremely disappointed. For what I was charged, this was certainly not what I was expecting. The work done was completely amateur. Cleaning streaks left all over my home, as if they had used a dirty rag the entire time. Beds that were left partially unmade. Several items not put back in their place-​the whole job felt like it was very carelessly done. I let Marlena know of my disappointment, only to have her become defensive and then start to blame ME! She proceeded to insult my home, state that the job was much larger than she anticipated, and nearly left me in tears accusing me of bullying her. I’m telling you, NOTHING in my home was cleaned to a level that was promised. I have paid ¹⁄₃ of the cost and had better cleaning jobs. I feel completely ripped off. She let me know that they had skipped a few areas, in an effort to stick with the time that she had allotted for this job-​though, again, never gave me a heads up that perhaps they had bitten off more than they could chew, if you will.
She offered to come back and «fix» whatever had not been done, but there were just so many little things, it felt awkward, as it was such a poor job. I asked her for a partial refund, as I was really upset with how much I was charged to come home to a partially cleaned home-​to which she never responded.
No doubt, she will further try to bully me on this post, as she did in our text conversation. Never have I had a person pressure me into a service and then completely fail to deliver.

Very good experience with Dustbunny solutions. Physically unable to do some cleaning at present, I needed someone to come in on fairly short notice. Marlena was quickly responsive & able to set up an appt to both come for an estimate & begin after that. The price was higher than I’d anticipated & more than I’ve paid for other cleaning services that I’ve had come from time to time. But, it was an easy discussion to assess what I really needed cleaned & we re-​negotiated price based on the present need. Understanding that prices would be lower still, if on ongoing, rotational arrangement was made. Both Marlena & her daughter did a nice job cleaning and were quite personable & very pleasant. I recommend their service.

Marlena has been coming by monthly to clean for ~6 months now, and I couldn’t be happier. She always does a great, super thorough job. She’s also really flexible, and has made time to come before I have visitors or throw a party, on very short notice. She’s also great with my dog. I like that the service feels a bit more personal. I definitely would recommend her to anyone in the area!

I was in a bind and needed our condo cleaned within 2 days — and Marlena totally came through. Adjusted her schedule to fit us in (THANK YOU) and did an outstanding job getting our place ready to show potential buyers. Really appreciated her attention to detail! Will be calling Marlena again.

This was my first time hiring a cleaning service, and I was so pleased with Dustbunny’s results! Marlena responded quickly to my initial inquiry and set up an appointment to see my place to give an estimate for a deep clean. She was friendly and professional and we scheduled the cleaning appointment for later that week.
They did a great job of cleaning and organizing my home– even putting away items in logical spots, stuff that was cluttering surface area. I didn’t have a lot of clutter to begin with, but they proactively reorganized a few things that made a refreshing change to my home. For example, in the kitchen they put spices away in a cabinet instead crowding the countertop; organized cook books; put snacks on top of fridge instead of crowding countertops.
All in all, the place looked and smelled great after the Dustbunny team was there for the day. Floors, molding, ceiling fans, bathroom –all clean and dust free. Moving forward, I plan to schedule regulars cleaning appointments with Marlena and Dustbunny.

Marlena recently started cleaning for my elderly in-​laws. She’s doing a terrific job– everything sparkles and smells great! She’s very sensitive to the particular needs of older clients, and has been more than willing to go the extra mile to not just clean their house, but help make their lives easier where she can.

I can’t recommend Marlena and her daughter, Corrin, more highly. I needed their help fast – before my realtor showed by townhome. They were able to fit me in and did a spectacular job. They cleaned baseboards, light switches, and things that I didn’t even know needed cleaning. I have already decided they will be my regular cleaning team when I move to my move to my new place in June. To say that they are thorough, efficient, professional, and friendly isn’t an overstatement. Couldn’t be happier.

Wow! That’s all I can say. Marlena and her team went above and beyond. My kitchen was immaculate. All my appliances were wiped down and the inside of my fridge was cleaned. She also took out all my garbage. Beyond my expectations. Thank you Marlena.

Elderly parents, years of collectibles, health challenges prevented them from keeping up with their former impeccable cleaning. Marlena and her team to the rescue. From my first outreach Marlena responded quickly with a phone call, and was able to schedule a deep clean within the time frame we sought. My folks and their dogs love her. She has been very sensitive to their needs, and the house sparkles after she has been there. Marlena cares for the home every two weeks and everything smells and looks fresh when they leave. She makes a point of including a rotating deep clean in each room of the house, taking down china and collectibles to clean so that the house retains its sparkling clean feel. We are thrilled to have found Marlena and would recommend her without hesitation.

Marlena saved the day! After hiring a different service that did a terrible job, I contacted Marlena to see if she had time for a last minute job. She and her crew spent hours cleaning the apartment we are moving in to. It was beyond dirty and needed a lot of work. They scrubbed every inch of the apartment, including all of the woodwork. It looks 100x better than it did this morning. It smells better and the floors are shining. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Marlena and her team for cleaning– especially for thorough move-​in cleaning. They didn’t miss a thing!

Marlena, the owner of Dust Bunny Solutions, replied to my message within a half hour and was able to schedule cleaning my house within 48 hours. She and her assistant did a good job cleaning the first floor of my house. For an extra charge they also cleaned all the windows which was a big help. I was very satisfied with the job they did and it was a big help that she came on short notice.
One negative is that they didn’t clean the powder room! Not sure how they could have overlooked it.

Over promised and took my swiffers. I wasn’t going to leave a review initially even though I wasn’t totally satisfied with the service, but after discovering huge areas uncleaned that were discussed, as well as $ 30 worth of my cleaning supplies missing, I had to leave a review. While they did a great job in my kitchen (where they started), my biggest concern was the dust in my house, especially the front room. They charged $ 300 for the whole house and had promised to pull out the couch to clean under everything, dust my ceiling pipes/​fans/​windows, but I discovered they were untouched. I was going to let that go, and hire another service next time, but when I went to clean the areas they failed to do, I discovered they had taken both my swiffer mop and my swiffer extendable duster. It cost almost $ 30 to replace these items. The fact they left me unable to clean up what they missed just really led me to 2 stars.

So I may or may not have slacked for a few months on dusting and deep cleaning my apartment… (Totally slacked). and when you find yourself mistaking large dustbunnies for bugs, you know it’s time for some heavy cleaning. So I turn where I usually turn, Unilocal,and I found Dustbunny Solutions (such an appropriate name for my situation) and I am so glad I called.
Marlena is great! She was able to get me an appointment on short notice, came to my place to see what was up and give an appropriate estimate, and is very flexible. She is SO nice, responds to her phone quickly, and also did such a great job! I’m pretty sure this is cleanest my place has ever been.
I highly recommend giving her a call to slay your dust bunnies. You won’t be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of working with Marlena when moving out of my studio apartment this past December. She took me in as a last minute ordeal because the other company I had arranged services with did not show up. She is very personable, communication and responsiveness was super. The day I called, her crew showed up at my place to get an estimate. Next day crew showed up to clean the place. After I was informed that the unit was finished I went back in my unit to check out the quality of the service. Unfortunately, there were several things that were left untouched and dirty. Right away I called Marlena and told her. She explained to me that she recently hired someone new to her team. Acceptable and understood. She rushed there herself to wrap up the rest of the cleaning I told her that were still filthy. I was informed that the place was left finished, so I trusted her judgement never went back because I had already moved out of that unit for a week now. Overall, I was satisfied at this point and should’ve went back to check it one final time. However, today as I opened my mail I found a letter from my management team as they charged me an additional cleaning service fee of $ 100 because the move out cleaning did not meet the requirements. I was hesitant to leave a review because of the 5 star reviews other people have left, but I felt it was right to leave an honest review based on my own experience. I certainly know she wants to operate a team at a 5 star level, however, it just didn’t mean that with my experience. :(I was going to contact Marlena for my boyfriend’s unit, however I am quite reluctant to go back now.

My dwelling was hit by disaster and I needed help! From my perspective my situation was dire, and I have physical handicaps limiting my abilities across the board. I called several services, telling my story. I was disappointed.
Finally magic… Marlena of Dustbunny Solutions! She possesses and employs the people skills required when a prospective client’s home base is no longer home. I could hear the passion, excitement, and desire to right my world in her voice. She rocked my world further by scheduling a time to come by to take a look at the project! Once we met, it was evident she is passionate about her work, and would be personally invested in what is the most personal of projects to me. Beside all the «intangibles» mentioned, her pricing was by far the best. Dustbunny Solutions was hired!
On day one, let’s say I was «unavailable.» Upon my «return» Marlena and her great staff had accomplished so much. Every room was accessible; even cleaning and reorganize/​redec was accomplished. It was evident there was a procedural plan. I was most impressed.
Prior to their 2^nd visit I had a brief phone chat with Marlena. Her action plan is proof positive of their philosophy of doing their best for each client. Marlena read me like a book, and though we’re not quite done; she took necessary steps for me to be loving my home. After the disaster I didn’t think I’d ever feel that way about «home.» Amazing!

She worked around my schedule and was able to fit me in right away. Marlena is extremely personable, and clearly has a passion for what she does. I can tell that she is detail oriented and takes pride in the work her company provides. I’ve been using Dustbunny solutions for a couple months now and couldn’t be more happy. Marlena and her team always do an excellent job, and actually made me realize how the last cleaning service I used wasn’t actually that great. Dustbunny solutions is also very accommodating and flexible, which I really appreciate. I recently got a new dog, and they didn’t even flinch with the new work load. They also didn’t mind working with her in the house, and she seemed to take right to them. I’d recommend this cleaning team in a heart beat, they do an excellent job, and make my life so much more enjoyable (no more spending my days off vacuuming).
Update: Marlena and Yuri continue to do a great job and go above and beyond. Just a few weeks ago, Marlena brought in her deep cleaner and managed to get a dog stain off my couch that I thought was a lost cause (I was actually shopping for a new slip cover). I have had a great experience with them, they even take my dog out for a bathroom break when they’re done.
