I agree. East lake Management is very shitty. I live in Lawless Garden and they treat us like shit. They try to find the cheapest way out of any repair. The painters are retards, the pest company they hired don’t get rid of pest and they don’t listen to tenants concerns.

I really feel like people have a right to know, as the original listing for ELM has now changed to something named Metroplex, Inc.
I can’t wait to get out of this apartment. The apartment itself is fine, if you don’t mind carpet, but the management company is what everybody says it is. Horrible with a capital H. As in, run screaming from Laura Kaplan, general manager.
She once called me after I called the after –hours emergency line. Non-​working plumbing in the kitchen is apparently not an emergency. She told me to wash my vegetables in my bathroom sink for the weekend. Only she didn’t tell me, she screamed at me, then hung up on me after arguing with me, and telling me that there is NO weekend maintenance. She was overly aggressive, combative and simply out to prove a point.
The lease doesn’t say a thing about not having weekend maintenance. I called on Monday to request they fix my sink (I’d rather not wash my veggies in my bathroom), and Laura offered to let me out of my lease. Only 5 months after I signed it. Weird. Just weird.
Also, their «emergency line» is outsourced. East Lake Mgmt company has buildings all over the Midwest apparently. I feel like I’m calling Sprint’s customer service. They ask me what state I’m in, then which building, and I have to leave a message for someone to call me back, and that’s no guarantee that I’ll get a call back. Talk about frustrating.
Stay away from Willow Dayton. The website says that Laura «is known for being exceptionally attentive to her clients’ needs». Well, that’s news to my ears.
Now, I just hope I don’t get any backlash from writing this.
