Ooh per Lauren P’s review I never realized they sold Kinder Bueno here. It’s a European chocolate and if you’ve never had it but love Kit Kat, it’s a must try. I don’t know why I never made the connection with store names, Eden’s which is here and then Eden’s #2 which is on Devon & Crawford, and lastly Eden’s #3 which is at Foster and Cicero. All locations I’ve been to while out and about in this area of the North side. A good group of people behind the ownership of their stores, but as of recently all three shops are no longer linked by ownership. You’d assume that until the time of separation, having had the same ownership the offerings would be the same, but, not so much. This is a strange liquor store, in that they have racks like a convenience store does, but there isn’t any rhyme or reason to the setup of merchandise. Kind of like stand alone dollar stores owned by a single owner rather than a chain. Items set onto shelving with the hopes it would get purchased, but hardly any intuition on product display. Based on the neighborhood and regulars; the selection of spirits is unique from your typical booze store, one can find all kinds of unique alcohol selections from ethnic beers like the Polish or Asian variety to spirits like Soju; etc. Pricing is decent and won’t break the bank. This mart is located in a now tired and dilapidated looking strip mall which once housed a popular Korean BBQ spot.

I have only ever purchased two things at this liquor store: Coke and Kinder Buenos. I try to lay off the brown n’ bubbly, but sometimes a gal just needs a fizzy lift, ya know? Eden is in the sad, dilapidated strip mall located next to my fabulous shop, so it’s super convenient. They have cans of Coke for 65 cents, and a lovely selection of my favorite Euro candies– Kinder Buenos and Duplos, and even a Milka bar every now and then. If they only stocked Pocket Coffee, I would be in heaven. The store has that weird, cheap liquor store smell, but the guys who work there are super nice, and occasionally they watch things like Everybody Loves Raymond or King of Queens on the store tv, which I find kind of adorable.
