El Mezquite Grill

Cubanas are huge & appetizing. Tacos are very flavorful (love the chicken tacos).The breakfast is delicious. I definitely would be there more often but they only take cash $$$ payment.

So my friend Alba lives accross the street from this awesome place. Located in Little Village, I enjoying trying new places, its places like this that make LV an amazing food experience. My friend told me that she enjoys coming here because thier food is very good. I decided to find out for myself. We walked in and we were greeted very warmly by the owner and his wife. There is seating right by the grill in front or you can go to the back and sit at the tables. We decided to sit in front were all the magic happened.
I ordered 3 tacos: 1 Carne Asada, and 2 Chicken. CHICKEN TACOS! Do it! I don’t mean to over shadow my steak taco which was good as well but these Chicken tacos are out of this world. First of all, you can tell they are cooking this food with love because they are asking you what you want and don’t want on it. When you order cheese with your taco, they don’t just drop it on top of your food, they put it in the middle of two tortillas (quesadillia). Isn’t that awesome?

Again the restaurant was clean, the staff was personable and friendly, and the food was good!
