Elements Massage

I used to visit the Elements in Orland Park, that is now closed. That is where I met Jennifer. She is wonderful. I went monthly when I was pregnant and she is always very attentive and works on the problem spots I tell her about. She remembered me month to month and each of my concerns. When the Orland location closed, I started going to the Western Springs location. Turns out Jennifer moved to this location, so that was perfect! I was so excited when they opened the South Loop location! It is clean, close to public transportation, and everyone is VERY friendly. I was able to transfer my membership from Western Springs to South Loop with no problems. I see both Jennifer and Tashata at this location and they are wonderful. I tell them exactly what my problem area is or if I am just looking for relaxation. I went numerous times before and after running the Chicago marathon, not only did they work on the obvious massage part but both did different stretches with me to help keep me loose. I am booking my next appointment as we speak!

Everyone/​everything about this location is fantastic. The two one star reviewers bringing down their rating is a shame.
This location is so helpful, everyone has great customer service skills; from the therapists (worked with Glenn, Tashata, Evelyn) to the front desk staff (Matt!).
The massage therapists are all professional and when someone says you are not working with them, it means you are not relaxed and your muscles are fighting them which is no benefit to you, so I am sure the reviewer that gave the one star about that must have tight muscles.
I have had many massages and came to Elements because I wanted to do a couples massage. After that massage I was hooked and then signed up for the monthly massage program. I am a fun of high end spas offering massages and not into chain places, but this location I feel operates similar to a high end spa. There rooms and lobby are clean, they offer water while you wait, and after. They have heated massage tables. Seriously I can not speak more highly about this place.

Elements on S Michigan Ave is the place to go to support you with your well being! From the first time I went there Matt and Nicko both great at the reception and make you feel very welcome. Warm and very professional & inviting. They have you relax before they nmatch you up to a therapist.
It’s not some pretentious spa. it’s where you go to create a partner in your well being. My therapist is Yolanda, and boy she is a master! She is a therapist not a massuese and there is a huge difference! I have been for 3 massages so far and each time Yolanda gets more familiar with my body and where the pain is and she takes care of it. no pain and better mobility! I am asked about the pressure, I am asked where I hurt, or have had any injuries. I am treated with respect and made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. The place is spotless
I always feel refreshed when I leave, with more energy!
I will be joining their membership program as the prices then make it more reasonable. To have a group of people who genuinely care about your well being is wonderful and I am delighted with this Elements, with their extraordinary team ! Thank you Yolanda. You are AWESOME!
I have noticed in the last year many massage offers in the downtown loop area and this by far is the BEST!

wow. can’t say I’ve ever been more let down by a massage. My masseuse was just awkward and rude, she said that I wasn’t working with her, and kept telling me how great she was at what she did; and basically– that the problem was me. Yikes. Not to mention after I was done, my back and body was really in pain. I believe that she was sincerely trying to work out some stuff, but that is not relaxing for me; I’m not looking for a back adjustment and to be in physical pain during a massage. Maybe I’ve just had crappy massages in the past, but this – was one where I am not in ANY hurry to return. I had a hard time really leaving any money, let along a decent tip. I guess I’ve gotten more relaxation and good feeling rubbing up against a wall then this massage. Look elsewhere.

I came here for a deep tissue Massage, my therapist is Evelyn. She’s helped break through the Tense Knots on my shoulder and neck, the pain is really rigorous. But I enjoyed it so much and I fell very release afterward.

This place is wonderful! If your looking for a deep tissue massage that will hit all your trigger points this is the place for you!!!
I called at 8:30 am and they were able to accommodate me by making an appointment at 10:30 am! I absolutely loved that!
I walked in and everyone was so friendly! My therapist was Jennifer! She is AMAZING! I felt so much better after my massage! I am Definitely coming back to her! She knew exactly all my tense spots without telling her!
This place is clean, friendly, professional and top notch! No one will be disappointed!

I had just been running ragged for about two weeks and I could barely move my right arm without cringing it hurt so bad. I had been wanting to try this location since it opened (I had been to the location they have in Western Springs, IL) and as fate would have it, they had a gap in their schedule at just the right time!
It went great. They offer validated parking, and even though I actually didn’t need to use it that day, as someone that spends a lot of time driving around for my job, it was a big plus. When I got there, I liked the vibe. It’s in a store front of the swanky ‘Columbian’ condo building at Michigan and Roosevelt.
As for the brass tacks, the massage itself was AMAZING! Whoever sang that song about ‘hurt so good,’ could have been talking about Emerita, the woman that gave me my massage. It’s really rare that I can find someone that can really go deep enough into the tissue to be satisfying to me, but she did! She was careful to make sure she wasn’t ever applying too much pressure (as if there is such a thing) but not in an annoying way and while she was polite, she didn’t make me feel like I needed to make small talk and in fact at the end I almost /​kind-​of-​did doze (d) off.
I went out the front to pay after I took like 10 minutes to get my bearings and get dressed, and I was given a water and a friendly exchange of conversation on my way out!

I had $ 900 I wanted to spend on a package to get a series of massages. I called yesterday, and an employee who really had no clue how to handle my call said she would reach out to a manager and call me back in ten minutes. I told her it was time sensitive… 24 hours later and still no call. If I was her manager I would fire her, if it’s the manager’s fault then they should resign for losing out on a $ 900 easy sale!

Staff is wonderful, I always get the appointment time I want, and Niki has done amazing jobs at my massages. She is very considerate about pressure and always asks my preferences before she begins. Her massages are amazing. The Wellness package is a great deal! Better pricing that most in the area. It’s my new favorite way to treat myself.
